We sanded the floor and used osmo white for the finish.

If you get an estimate for floor sanding and the person arrives with a little hand sander to complete your floor please stop them at the door.
To do a professional job that includes dust extraction, leveling and complete removal of the old varnish you need professional tools and experience.
I have been going to a few customers lately where a person has turned up and ruined the floor bc they don't know what they're doing and they use the wrong equipment.
They may be cheap but you will pay in the long run for this mistake.
At best, they don't get the old finish off and we can rescue the floor, at worst, you could need a new floor or have costly repairs.

Little Peter Rabbit used to love sitting by the fire and urinate on the floor.
We tried our best but the damage was to far into the wood.
Even after a through sanding it still wouldn't come out.
It did lighten but not much, a partial removal and install will be required unfortunately 😕

What a great turnaround. This floor was wayyyyy past it's refinish stage but being wood, a little bit of TLC and 💥. Back to new!

What repair.
We take on repairs of all sorts.
This parquet block was damaged by the installers doing a "repair" so I repaired It properly.
The colour match is not perfect, but it's the best one out of the customers spare ones.

What a diffrence a sand and paint cam do.
We removed the carpet, done some minor repairs and filling then painted white ready for the runner.

Managed to change the old beading to solid oak 1/4 round colour matched to the floor.
