I honestly can’t believe that autumn is here! It’s been a busy wedding season, and I’m excited to share more from all the gorgeous weddings I’ve had the honour of capturing. Especially this stunning one; the gorgeous Dannii & Dan ; everything about it made my heart swell! So much love and laughter. And the colour palette…and the details…you’ll be all heart eyes…I promise!

I’m loving all the fabulous enquiries I’m getting for 2024 and beyond. Gutted that I’m already booked for some of my ‘still to shoot at bucket list venues’ that have hit my inbox recently (Botley Hill Barn, Architectural Plants, Trinity Buoy Wharf to name but a few!), but hoping the universe will still deliver!

I always advise that we nip off for 20 minutes or so to make some beautiful portraits of you both as you're looking so fine on your wedding day. Even the most camera shy couples are always so grateful that they've taken the time to do this. And remember these photos will go on to cherished and framed in years to come, long after your path has been trodden. Memories captured forever, to be loved and cherished for years to come are what I'm all about.

There are many things that make a wedding awesome, but personally it's all about the vibe. And the 3 things that make it for me are...

Rosa and Connor's wedding delivered big time on all 3 counts. Both them and their gorgeous families and friends were completely joyous to be around, and the food was so good I had to literally stop myself from licking the plate, plus the urban style of The Depot with it's earthy, rustic tones made it just a winner for me. What a way to kick off my 2023 wedding season! I can't wait to share more from their gorgeous day sooooon.

The gorgeous Lucy & Alexei enjoying 5 mins in the shade on one of the most boiling hot summer days ever. Trust me to always find the best locations for your portraits, whatever the weather. And if you're holding your reception on a farm, know that the outbuildings will be on my creative radar for the beautiful juxtaposition they provide on a wedding day!

It’s important to stop and take a breath on your wedding day, as time whizzes away from you. Boudien & Patrick did just that at their gorgeous wedding at the stunning Wilton’s Music Hall.

Magical moments at your wedding are what I look out for. Not always as literal as this of course ha! But the little things are often what catches my eye. The little moments of connection between your favourite people that you won't see, as let's face it you can't be with everywhere at once on your wedding day.

Not everyone is a shoe person, I get it. {actually I lied…I don’t really as I personally love them. Fear not though…I will still capture your wedding even if we differ on this…ha!}. That aside I love how over the years I’ve seen a definite trend in wearing stunning colourful shoes, and of course you can wear them again. For those of you with a more practical outlook on shoes…big tick!

We don’t need hours to create some effortlessly cool portraits of you both on your wedding day. I recommend breaking up your portraits into 2 short sections; 1 within an hour or so after your wedding ceremony, and the other later in the day around golden hour for a more relaxed vibe. This image of Kelly & Brad was taken after the wedding breakfast, early evening, when we popped outside for 10 mins to make the most of the urban environment…and if you haven’t already guessed, yes I do love a metal shutter as a backdrop - the juxtaposition of Brides and Grooms looking fine against an unexpected urban backdrop makes my creative heart very happy 💕
