I cannot believe how wonderful it is to be back in the world of Weddings once more as consultations with couples can now take place face to face and Wedding open days are now possible too. Thank you to everyone - suppliers, couples and families- who made the Open Days at Bachilton Barn this weekend fun and enjoyable. With social distancing still in place, it makes for a very different experience but is exciting and enjoyable none the less so I relish meeting up with some of the couples who are now tentatively looking forward to wedding dates in 2021, 2022 and beyond. Happy new year everyone - just taking a gentle and slow start to 2021. Let's hope that dreams and wishes for wedding days can be yours and that time together can be shared and enjoyed safely once more. Being able to talk and enjoy each others company once more, to be free of masks and to be able to hug will be the most precious of gifts; I cannot wait! what a joy to make these invitations after what has been such a challenging time - lets hope that 2021 allows for celebrations to all go forwards as planned and hoped for xx

making stationery is always a precious joy, but given these days of virus and uncertainty, there was something extra special about making these save the date tags, knowing that they would bring optimism and joy to all of the guests. Something wonderful to look forward to for both the bride and groom but all their family and friends too

Over the moon to share that our son has just gained his Honours Degree - super proud of him. Time to celebrate, more celebrations to follow and hopefully once the 2 metre rule is relaxed and public gatherings are allowed he will be able to have his university graduation ceremony for which he so richly deserves his moment.

everyone likes getting "nice" post so it has been fun just playing with very simple designs and ink and taking time to write wee notes to people as it forms more ideas for Cherish designs to come.

Incredible to think that this is the 8th week that Cherish has been "on hold" albeit stationery is still being made as new dates are sorted for weddings. We are all fine and hope that you are all too and hopefully we will all be able to meet up again and continue with wedding planning, soon. Keep safe and well in the meantime, Kathy xx

We are now into Week 4 of being at home and sticking to the rules; having seen how cruel this virus can be is a reminder enough about staying safe and those around us. Cherish work continues in the midst of everything, some Wedding dates have been altered and that will be happily accommodated, but photos on here alas are on hold until couples have received their stationery and they have sent them out to their guests. New ranges are also being designed so they will appear in time too. Stay well everyone and perhaps you too, have a sanity list for the next couple of months of things you would like to achieve or accomplish in amongst looking after yourselves and those at home with you. Hi there everyone. Just a wee update from the Cherish studio in these uncertain days. In line with the guidance issued yesterday afternoon about non-essential contact, I will not be offering any face to face appointments at the moment but can assure everyone that work will continue as planned on all orders, samples will be photographed and discussed via email, skype or phone and can also be sent out in the post. I have been in touch with all of my couples to reassure them that whatever the outcomes for their specific wedding date, I will work with them so that everything runs smoothly and we roll with whatever transpires. My other family members who are living at home are now also working from home so abiding by the same rules as we recognise that the virus has a 14 day incubation period before symptons may show. We will all work our way through these challenges but in the meantime, I hope that you all keep well; if you have any questions or concerns about stationery please do not hesitate to send me a message or pick up the phone. I do not offer consultations from my home but hope to be able to meet with everyone again very soon. Love to you all, Kathy xx

I have the joy of working on some Wedding stationery that has a beautiful sunflower theme to it so it reminds me of warmer, sunnier days to come ..... You can't help but feel cheerful with sunflowers!!
