It was an honour to get to hand out an award last night at The NMG Awards & to have been a part of this year's judging panel ♥️
This year has been so special to me getting back into music after a good few years off due to my health, and last night was full of beautiful moments that made me feel very grateful to have my health back.

About last night! What a great way to step back into the world of gigging 🥰 Cambridge Folk Club ! Thank you to everyone who stayed and listened to us perform (me and dad of course!) and what a joy it was to listen to Elizabeth & Jameson again! Please do go and support their upcoming release if you can, we got our hands on a copy already and can confirm it’s absolutely worth seeing these songs live and grabbing a CD!

Trying to rehearse for singing a couple of songs as a floor spot at Cambridge Folk Club tomorrow night but someone keeps retuning my guitar 👀🤣 - # # #
Absolutely gutted that I couldn’t sing a few songs to help the lovely Red Velvet celebrate their 200th gig tonight - I finally get ready to sing after all the madness and come down with a very poorly throat 😪 antibiotics are already underway after visiting the out of hours GP in the early hours but if you went to the Golden Hind tonight I’m sure you had the best time! 💃
Instead, here’s a clip from a rehearsal last week of my song “coming down from love” which I hope to release very soon ✨ 🤍

I try not to talk too much about what happened to me and why I stopped gigging for so long, especially here (& most photos are too graphic), but if you’re interested please research TSW at https://www.itsan.org
I only post this today because it’s world mental health day and I never want anyone to feel alone or feel the way I did when I was poorly & before I reached out for help and truly turned to my loved ones for the support I needed.
Please - don’t suffer in silence ❤️ help is out there, even if it’s your best friend and a cup of tea ❤️ and things do get better!
& for me, music is therapy too! (As well as therapy.. I’ll take both 🤣)
So pop your favourite song on and don’t forget to make yourself a priority when you need to.

It’s been a crazy few years with various health conditions completely wiping me out whilst raising my two beautiful children but I’m finally on a medication called Dupixent which has changed my life and helped me get up and go again! 🥰 …meaning I’m ready to get out there and start singing!
