Last Sunday our new club Communications officer competed in the Polish Nation mtb championships. Although suffering some bad luck, he still put in a great race. Hopefully next year he will be back faster and stronger.

Here's Jan's summary of the race:
"This years Polish Championships were over before they started, a broken chain at the beginning of the race ruined my chances of a big result. In the end I finished with a 22nd place in the U23 category, unfortunately not what I came for."

NEW RIDER SIGNING 2022
We are pleased to announce the signing of star rider Guy Daly.
While this may not be true, we were thrilled to be able to present our Deputy Vice-Chancellor with a club jersey as a memento of his time working at Coventry University. We wish you all the best for the future Guy!

We're pleased to announce the result of the election that took place earlier this week! Lewis Stanley and Jean Bout are continuing on the committee for next year, with Max McClellan joining the committee for the first time, as the club's wellbeing officer. Have an active component to your day to day university life, no matter the circumstances.
Cycling was actively encouraged, even through the height of lockdown in the UK. Give yourself the option to excersise at uni.

At Coventry University Cycling Club,we're certainly saying yes to cycling! Creating more cycle lanes and facilities, whether they are permanent or temporary, is a great way to get more people out on bikes. Better health, cleaner air and safer streets - and less from the NIMBYs standing in the way.
