We believe the real answer to single-use plastic is to tackle the cause of the issue and eliminate the plastic altogether. SIMPLE.
Did you know...The average time that a plastic bag is used is … 12 minutes. That's versus the 500 years it will remain in our ecosystems. If this isn't insanity, I don't know what is.

The ocean is the planet’s life force. The Earth’s largest ecosystem.
But as plastic pollution builds up in our oceans this vast ecosystem is at risk of extinction.
Oceans matter and it is our collective responsibility to protect them from plastic pollution.

Did you know...The average person eats 70,000 pieces of micro plastics each year.
That is extremely disturbing.
The phenomenon of micro plastics has only recently come to light and already research is uncovering significant problomatic findings.
And with millions of tons of plastic already polluting our ecosystems, the micro plastics issue will be a growing cause for concern for decades to come.
Change is often challenging. Particularly when it is combined with uncertainty.
But in the case of single-use plastics, there should be no uncertainty.
We should simply accept that we need to change. And change.

We cannot afford to fail our planet and our future generations. We must change our single-use plastic ways...NOW.

In the long term, every action has a consequence, whether good or bad.
Plastic pollution is simply plastic where it shouldn’t be. It’s in the streets, in the oceans and on the beaches. And it’s causing harm.
Plastic is cheap to produce, extremely durable and we are consuming it at staggering rates, with current estimates showing that more than 8 million pieces of plastic are entering our oceans every single day.
This needs to change. And we are all equally responsible for it.
By making a choice to refuse plastic once a day, you can make a difference. A real difference.
By making a choice, you are the change.

If we are to love our planet more than we love plastic driven convenience, social, political and industrial change is needed.
And if we are to love and respect the potential of our future generations, the time for that change is NOW.
Did you know...Nearly TWO MILLION single-use plastic bags are still distributed and used worldwide every minute.
This is completely senseless. If we are to make any kind of positive change, at all, this must change.
Plastic bags are 99.9% unnecessary. If we all made a real effort to take our own reusable bags with us we could save hundreds of thousands of tons of needless plastic entering our ecosystems every year.
Single-use plastic cannot be ignored. It cannot be condoned and it cannot be unseen.
But it can be solved. And the solutions are only one GREAT IDEA away.

There are alternatives to single-use plastic.
We must use them, take responsibility for our actions and pursue the necessary steps to safeguard the future and sustainability of our ecosystems.
Why ? Because we value our oceans
It is widely recognised that single use plastic packaging presents a significant long term risk to sustainability and the global environment. And with millions of tonnes of plastic being buried in landfill or dumped into our oceans each year, this issue is at a tipping point.
Our founding team got together to address this growing imbalance and set out (several years ago) to find a solution.
We understand the connection between the health of our planet and the impact of single-use plastics and believe that recycling, responsible disposal and a variety of other solutions are not the answer. They are only addressing the symptoms.
We believe the real answer is to remove the actual cause of the issue and eliminate the plastic altogether.
