🐥 A double whammy of super exciting Goose news 🐥

Firstly, our wonderful pal a.k.a dropped his faaaaabulous debut album this week and it's a wonderful slice of toe tapping joy for one and all 🙌

If we had an actual office, we could safely say that it would be on heavy rotation right now! I suppose it being on looped in our respective abodes will have do 🙃

Secondly, Chris very very kindly asked us to help with the latest round of merch for the album 👕

So now, alongside a gem of an album, there is now a gaggle of suspiciously soft, 100% organic tees out in the wild 🌿

Welcome to 'The Future of Goose Studios (pt.2) - the difficult second album!

Here we are going to outline what Goose Studios 2.0 looks like for 2023 and beyond, so strap ya self in for an unhealthy amount of optimism...

🎨 Working with amazing creatives (and pay them!)

One thing that has brought us so much joy is working with creatives, whether that be an illustrator, embroiderer or photographer.

We want to build strong relationships with creatives, pay them the living wage and share their stories with you, our Goose community.

💸 Living wages across the whole supply chain

We mentioned before the exploitation of the fast-fashion 'big guns, and in short it's not right.

Increasing our prices means we can focus on instigating change on the ground, working with suppliers who actively want to be part of the solution, protecting workers rights, pay and conditions.

For us, this is a fundamental human issue and we want Goose Studios to be at the forefront of a better way to do things.

🌿 A seriously sustainable product

With increasing our pricing, we can start exploring and developing even lower impact design.

It's something we are doing right now (a little secret which we hope to share with you all this year) but we want to go further. Traceable fabrics, h**p and linen, repair and refurbishment, these are just some of the things that we can really start to explore with a little more working capital!

🎉 For social good

Our favourite time of the year is Black Friday weekend. Without a discount in sight, for the last 3 years we have taken 20% of revenue that weekend and donated that sum to a charity who is doing epic work in their chosen field.

This is something we want to do more. Working closely with charities, social movements and NPO's, we want to give something back to the individuals and causes that keep our communities going.

So there we have it! Goose Studios 2.0. Thank you if you've read the above, without your support, we wouldn't be here today.

We are super proud of what Goose Studios stands for, and how we can improve the products and company but it's important to acknowledge where we are. Below are what we think are all the good things we do as a brand today ✌️

🌿 We use 100% organic cotton in all our styles. Our recycled polyester brand labels are now made in Wales

💦 We're a PETA-approved Vegan brand and we print by hand using water-based inks with our long-standing partners Memory Screen Print Studios in Bath

📦 Our packaging is biodegradable and recyclable at kerbside, including the use of an innovative protective garment bag that dissolves in water, turning into harmless biomass

💸 We donate 20% of our revenue to charity across Black Friday weekend, as well as protecting 5 mature rainforest trees for every valuable email newsletter signup

🏫 32% of our products are sewn in a factory that now employs the living wage. Our international suppliers are leading members of Fair Wear foundation - ensuring the development of workers rights

👕 On every product page we ask customers if they really need to buy that product to ensure every purchase is necessary

We are dropping the second part of The Future of Goose Studios later this weekend, so stay tuned as this will be the exciting one, outlining where we are hoping to take Goose Studios this year and beyond ✨

This weekend sees the return of 'Black Friday' weekend and for the third year, we at Goose Studios are giving that a swerve and instead giving money to where it matters most... Charity.

For this year, we are donating 20% of all profits to The Clock Tower Sanctuary, a truly marvelous Brighton homelessness charity for 16-25 year olds.

For Sam and I, the thought of being 17 or 18, with nowhere to go or crashing on sofa to sofa, truly terrifies us and whilst we were extremely lucky, others simply aren't.

We are hoping to raise £200, which is enough for The Clock Tower Sanctuary to either train one volunteer to support individuals who come to the centre or will allow 20 young people an opportunity to shower, wash their clothes and eat a hot meal.

And for all you lovely Brighton folks, we have our first market stall this Saturday at Brighton Open Market, where again we will be donating 20% of all profits to this incredible cause!
