*** Happy Birthday to King Charles ***
Celebrations of the monarch's official birthday are held in June across the Commonwealth and include the Trooping of the Colour in London.

*** UEFA Euros - Who Do You Want to Win? ***
The 2024 UEFA European Football Championship will be held in Germany from 14 June to 14 July. The tournament will comprise 24 teams, with Georgia the only team making its European Championship finals debut.

*** 80th Anniversary of D-Day - We Will Remember Them ***

The 6th June 2024 is the 80th Anniversary of the Normandy Landings, also known as the D-Day Landings which laid the foundations of the Allied victory on the Western Front in World War II.

Cinco de Mayo, or the fifth of May, is a holiday that celebrates the date of the Mexican army’s May 5, 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War. The day, which falls on Sunday, May 5 2024, is also known as the Battle of Puebla Day.

***Passover ***
Passover 2024 is held from 22nd April until 30th April. The main celebration of Passover takes place each evening after nightfall. Passover is taken from the Hebrew word, Pesach, which means ‘to pass over’. The festival celebrates the emancipation of the Jewish people from slavery and dates back to the ancient Egyptian period.

Eid al-Fitr, also known as‎‎ the “festival of breaking of the fast”, is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide that marks the end of Ramadan. The holiday celebrates the conclusion of the 29 or 30 days of dawn-to-sunset fasting during the entire month of Ramadan
