To celebrate the launch, our teams have been taking part in elephant themed competitions around the offices across the UK as well as enjoying some goodies, including delicious “Nelly” biscuits baked by The Kitsch Hen

We love to celebrate our differences.

Our team recently received wildflower seeds - every packet growing and flourishing in different ways, just like each person in our community.

Lately we’ve all been growing our knowledge on neurodiversity through specialist training sessions as well as a dedicated neurodiversity policy providing continued support and demonstrating our commitment to inclusion.

Proud to celebrate Pride.

No matter who you are, or who, or whether you love – equality is fundamental.

It’s not about us all being the same, it’s about recognising our differences, speaking out, working hard for what is right, supporting those that need it, all whilst celebrating what makes each of us unique.

We continue to stand by and support every member of our team, including those in the LGBTQ+ community, not just in Pride month, but every day of the year.

Growing a virtual forest

We’re thrilled to announce our new tree planting scheme with Ecologi

We have dedicated to planting thousands of trees across the world:
- 8,000+ trees for our staff
- 20,000+ trees for our existing commercial property portfolio

We’re also planting 30 trees for each new commercial property we acquire for our customers in 2023. This year alone we expect to plant over 38,000 trees.

This new partnership demonstrates the importance that we place on creating a sustainable future and our commitment to do our part.

You can watch our virtual forest grow here – https://bit.ly/3WJJmGI

Our forest will continue to grow over time as we continue to make a positive difference to our environment and our future.

International Women’s Day 2023

Equality is fundamental. But equity is key.

It’s not just about being treated the same, or having the same opportunities. Equality doesn’t just happen. It’s identifying that there is disparity and providing the right support and opportunities to help lead to equality. None of us are the same and we should never take that for granted.

We stand behind and celebrate all of the women in the Curtis Banks team. Not just today, but every day of the year.

We pledge to continue to push and challenge ourselves as an employer, for not only equality, but more importantly, for equity.

It’s a given for most that soap and toilet rolls are provided in an office bathroom.

But how many people on a daily basis are caught short when on their period at work?

The answer is too many.

Period products should be seen as essential hygiene items – as fundamental as soap or toilet roll.

That’s why we’re ensuring free period products are readily available in all of our offices, so no one gets caught short at work again.

We’ve been getting our hands dirty…

This year we’ve donated over 320 hours to RSPB to help the environment in local projects across Suffolk.

43 of the Curtis Banks team in Ipswich have each pledged a working day to help create diverse habitats in the local area.

The work has been tough and a little muddy but staff have thoroughly enjoyed making a difference to the nature nearby.
