Labour is pushing this: The scheme will run for five years and without discounts the licence will cost £1,090 per property.
Since the scheme was launched over 700 applications for licences have been submitted
Most £1,000 licence applications “omit vital information” A council launching a new selective licensing regime admits that three quarters of the applicants so far have omitted to provide “vital information”.
Todays voting in Leicester will make a big impact for Landlords. The Labour rule under Peter Soulsby will enforce Licensing throughout the city for ALL Landlord properties. Think carefully who you vote for. One party is particularly against the Landlord community who provide Housing where the city council and housing authorities cannot meet demands. All the best voting.
