🏃♂️ London Marathon 2024 🏃♂️
We are blessed to have the incredible care and support, provided by amazing St Giles Hospice staff, available to us in Whittington.
Their staff support and care for local people whose illness may not be curable, whenever and wherever they need it most.
So I am keen to show my appreciation of their great work by running my first (and possibly last) marathon to raise funds for them.
I would be incredibly grateful if you could sponsor me by clicking on the link in the comment box below.
Please also share this post so that I can reach as many people as possible to help me reach my fundraising target.
Thank you!
Remember to take extra care when walking your dog in the dark 🐶 🌙
Dress him in a hi-vis coat, add a flashing light and use a reflective lead to help him stand out and keep him safe.

🆙 LEVELLING UP THE GOOD'S YARD 🆙
Fantastic to see that one the the projects funded by the record £56 million from the Levelling Up Fund, secured by myself and Stoke-on-Trent Conservatives has reached a major milestone.
The Good's Yard development, next to Stoke Station has reached its highest point of construction - at ten floors and 34 meters - and Capital & Centric are continuing their swift building work.
Looking forward to seeing this flagship accommodation and leisure project completed.

It was brilliant to join Great Wyrley residents at the Upper Landywood Methodist Church Coffee Morning.
These events are so vital for raising money for the church, as well as providing a hub for residents to socialise.
The coffee mornings take place on the last Friday of every month.
🚓 Wigginton Road is now on the list of sites regularly visited by a speed camera van.
🚨 I have been working hard to get more local residential roads visited by the speed camera vans.
✅ Wigginton Road is one of them and I have funded a speed survey, lobbied authorities and delivered speed sign bin stickers to residents.
😁 I am thrilled that they have agreed to add Wigginton Road to the permanent list of local sites.
👍 I joined the enforcement van on Wigginton Road to see how they catch speeding cars and their work to protect local residents from inconsiderate drivers.
📸 While there I observed cars speeding in proximity of the local school crossing and the van caught 9 drivers speeding on Wigginton Road, some during the times the school crossing patrol was operating.
😱 It's scary to see cars speeding while children are on their way to school. Securing Wigginton Road as a new permanent speed van sight is great news and it was fascinating to see inside the van and the equipment used.

I am delighted to once again be running my Christmas Card Competition, giving my younger constituents an opportunity to get creative and to come up with a superb festive design for my Christmas card!
With so many fantastic entries, each year seems to be tougher at whittling it down but that goes to show what excellent artistic talent we have locally amongst our children. I would encourage as many children and schools locally to take part and I look forward to the entries arriving in my postbag!
This competition is open to all primary school and preschool children who either live or go to school in Burton, Uttoxeter, or the surrounding villages.

Newcastle under Lyme's Local Voice
The local elections in Newcastle show Labour losing ground again and losing the popular vote. There are vast swathes of the borough with no Labour councillors at all. Conservatives now have borough councillors in areas such as Bradwell and Kidsgrove for first time in many years.
Thank you to everyone that voted Conservative last Thursday.
Voting open until 10:00pm tonight for those areas in Staffordshire with local elections today
