AFRIT NEBULA started in 2014 in St Leonards on Sea, UK, and features Elaine Edwards (tenor & soprano saxes, flute, keyboard), Ken Edwards (fretless bass guitar, vocals) and Yair Katz (percussion, guitar, vocals). Founder member Jamie Harris (percussion, vocals) left in May 2021. Ken and Elaine were founder members of legendary Hastings Old Town band The Moors (2009-2019). Yair played in bands in N

We had a fabulous evening at the Kino on Friday 29th, with a near full house, a hugely appreciative audience. THE SPIRIT IN THE DUST, featuring dancer Yumino Seki (who is pictured here - stills from Mark French, who did the lighting & projections) was a great success, and we will definitely now be doing it again.

Great turnout and reception at The Jenny Lind yesterday afternoon - and the lovely weather helped the feel-good vibe. If you weren't there - you missed a treat. We thoroughly enjoyed playing for the packed and appreciative house. Thanks to James who helped us set up, and to Simon as always for hosting us. The photo here is actually from our gig at the Jenny last year - if anyone has any pics or video of us yesterday we'd love to see them.

BULVERHYTHE VARIATIONS is a set of keyboard/piano pieces composed by Elaine Edwards during the Covid lockdowns. The music accompanies a series of photographs she took on her iPhone during early morning runs along the beach, and a series of texts by Ken Edwards written at the same time.

Thanks to all those who bought our album INALIENABLE (or the track "The World is Burning") during our promotion on behalf of Friends of the Earth.
