Dan Griffiths Wildlife Photography
I am a wildlife and nature photographer capturing moments in the wild, mostly in the UK.
In 2020 Musician Robbie Bowering was diagnosed with non Hodgkin’s lymphoma which led to the sad and premature passing of a friend, father and husband before his time. A group of Robbie Bowering's friends will be taking part in a 40 mile charity walk around Poole harbour. This is to raise money along with the RCAM Trust to support Robbie's family. If you are able to help in any way please find a just giving link below.
Robbie Bowering served with both the Band of the Grenadier Guards and the Band of the Coldstream Guards. Robbie was diligent, proactive, and above all caring – he nurtured and developed those around him and brought out the best in everyone he worked with, he was a truly inspirational character.

Some of the most beautiful things in nature are the smallest things. If you slow down and look closely into the undergrowth you will find that there is a whole other beautiful world on a micro scale, right beneath our feet. Every one of these beautiful tiny insects has a role to play in our perfectly balanced world.
As my Nan used to say, "Diamonds don't come as big as house bricks". (I don't know either haha).
As I start to embark on my new journey into the world of wildlife filmmaking and start to prepare to step into the world of YouTube. I look forward to exploring and sharing what our amazing wildlife still has to offer. I hope you will all join me on my new adventure.

It's so easy to be in such a rush these days that we can take for granted the simple things that are so beautiful in nature. Sometimes you just have to stop and appreciate the beauty and tranquility in nature.

It's great to be back out there with my camera and what better way to spend the sunny days than to photograph the awesome variety of birds that we have in the UK. Another one of my favourite birds is the oyster catcher. I just love these guys. They seem to have so much character. This one must have known I was coming and was more than happy to pose for the camera.

The warmer weather at this time of year makes it a great time of year to see dragonflies and damselflies. They also make a great food source for many of our little birds. I had a great day watching these cettis warblers darting in and out of the trees to collect their dinner with ease.

"A nightingale sang....."
I had the privilege of filming this wonderful little bird recently. There is something really quite magical about springtime and you simply can't help but think of bird song when you talk about spring. I simply love the sound of spring.

Magpies are in my opinion one of Britain's most underrated birds. There's something about them that I just love.
Grey Heron. Awesome birds!
My new updated website is now up and running. I can't wait to get back out there over the winter and gradually add more images to the website!

Dan Griffiths Photography - Nature and Wildlife photographer Like most wildlife and nature photographers, I have always had a passion for the outdoors. In 2016 I decided to start a page to share my passion with my friends and family and have subsequently decided to share my photography with everyone that appreciates nature.
