Supporting Health Care at Beaumond House: Bladder Scanner Appeal ❗

A BladderScan gives our patients a speedier diagnosis without having the inconvenience and discomfort of having to travel to hospital.

The machine reduces the need for invasive procedures by enabling easier urinary tract diagnoses. Scanning has the added advantage of helping to reduce the need for uncomfortable and stressful catheterization too.

The hospice’s original scanner is now ready for replacing. The total cost of a new Verathon BladderScan i10 International is £13,775 of which we have £10,000 but we urgently need your help to enable us to meet this shortfall.

The Beaumond House Bereavement Counselling Service offers individuals or groups the opportunity to explore thoughts and feelings.

Our Bereavement Service is available to all families of patients who were known to the Hospice 💙

Wright Vigar Steps Up for Charity with Olympic-Inspired Challenge
As the world's eyes turn to Paris for the 2024 Olympic Games, Wright Vigar is launching an exciting fitness challenge to support their chosen charities of the year. From July 26 to August 11, teams of five will collectively walk, run, or step their way from London's Olympic Park to Paris's Olympic Park—a virtual journey of 287 miles.

This 16-day challenge aims to promote wellbeing, foster team spirit, and raise vital funds for hospices in the local area. Participants will track their steps through various activities, including walking, running, and even golfing, as they contribute to their team's progress.

Tom Maxwell, Marketing Manager at Wright Vigar said, "We're thrilled to combine the Olympic spirit with our commitment to our charity of the year initiative. This challenge not only encourages our team to stay active but also allows us to make a meaningful impact on a cause close to our hearts."

Participants will make a small donation to join the challenge, with all proceeds going directly to the hospice local to their office.

One shift to assist with the set up - 2pm to 5.30pm

Sunday 15th September 2024
7am to 9.30am
9am to 12.30pm
12noon to 3.30pm
3pm to 6pm
5pm to 7.00pm

Monday 16th September – 21st September to take down outside banners/correx (teams of two)
