I am looking at taking on an associate HISP practitioner.
You must be a fully qualified hypnotherapist with experience using Hypnotherapy with children/young people. The role is for some work in schools in the midlands area, approx 3-4 clients per week. You must have Safeguarding training (or be willing to do some ASAP), have an enhanced DBS and relevant insurance. You must be competent in treating a range of issues, ie, anxiety, low self esteem, sleeping issues.

USING RESOURCES WITH CLIENTS IN THERAPY
This course will explore when, how, why to use practical resources, activities and games with clients (adults and children). It will be a practical day where you will gain some ideas of resources you can make and ones you can purchase, and how to use them to enhance your therapeutic work.

The latest news from Hadleigh Hypnotherapy is that I have successfully registered as a practitioner with the Hypnotherapy in Schools Programme - HISP. This is a brilliant organisation which operates country-wide and offers packages of clinical hypnotherapy in all educational settings (primary and secondary mainstream, specialist settings, Pupil Referral Units and colleges of Further Education) to support the learning and general well-being of pupils/students and staff.
I feel really passionate about this and absolutely convinced of its relevance. The remainder of this academic year will see me ensuring that I have everything ready to promote this excellent addition to health and welfare within my local area come September.
