Harry Glover- Remember the name !!
We are so proud to say that Harry has just signed for Burton Albion - he has been apart of Marc Albrighton centre of development since the mommy daddy & me group. 👶

RECORD NUMBERS AT FOOTBALL CAMP 📈
Wow where do we even start from here, when myself (coach Conor) & .11 set up we had a dream that one day we would create an environment where aspiring footballers could flourish within a safe, fun and inclusive setting.
Did we ever think that we would get 121 footballers join us for penalty shootout at football camp?
If we’re honest maybe not 😅 but never the less we were ready to create that environment with all of our amazing footballers & coaching staff 🙌
Thank you so much to everyone that has ever attended our centre of development your trust and support has made mine and Marc’s dream become more than we could have ever imagined. ⚽️

.11 attended assembly today and it was incredible to see so many students of the school who are shining bright whether it’s on the football pitch or in the classroom 📚 ⚽️
Marc also got to see the amazing 3g pitch that the school have had put down for their students 🏟️

FIRST DAY 🤩
Today we went to Ready Steady Grow childcare service to give the youngsters a new sport to play with some of those who joined in was there first time playing football ⚽️👏
Abit of info below from the ready steady grow team on what we are going to provide for their little footballers 👶 👇
On Mondays from April 29th we will now have Conor from marc Albrightons centre of development joining us from 10am-10:45 to do a football session with all the children, this will be a fantastic opportunity and will support childrens learning and development in many ways for all ages, the sessions will incorporate introducing the children to the sport of football. But will also support balance coordination, flexibility, strength and personal emotional & social skills as well as supporting the more simple learning outcomes and skills for babies too.
Football can help encourage strong bones and muscles and helps support building childrens immune systems and is also known to have a positive impact on childrens mental health and offer routine and can have an influence and promote positive behaviour.
Coach Conor will implement this in a range of ways including games and fun activities supported by staff, he will be incorporating other skills such as maths with counting and numbers. And colours and recognition. We hope this will support children of all ages in different ways and are super excited to have them on board.
Marc Albrighton Centre of Development have been running classes for our specific age group for 7 years within Tamworth and has worked with over 1000 children aged 1 - 4 during this period.
