TNPC 2021 Round up
Thank you to all our friends across the world for helping make 2021 a special year. We hope to see more of you in person in 2022! If you need some piping news for the next few days, head over to www.bagpipe.news for lots more great features and articles!

We did it! We are delighted to say that we have raised more than £31,000, smashing our initial target of £28,500, in just two weeks. Your generosity will now allow us to digitise the Piping Times and Piping Today periodicals, as well as produce a new annual Piping Times title. Following this achievement, we are now expanding our crowdfunding campaign target to £33,500 to allow us to also digitise The International Piper magazine. The International Piper was a monthly magazine which ran from 1978 until 1981 and was founded by the late Captain John A. MacLellan MBE (1921-1991) and his wife, Christine. The magazine contained news, articles and comment, including columns detailing the activities of the Scottish Piping Society of London, and Tom Speirs’ reports on the old Eagle Pipers’ Society. It would be amazing to be able to digitise and protect the legacy of this periodical as well as Piping Today and Piping Times to allow pipers to read many years of fascinating information and humorous stories for many years to come. Our crowdfunding will continue until the end of the month (Monday 31st May 2021) and you will be able to donate via the page: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/pipingtimes

Thank you so much to all our friends around the world who have supported us so far, we are delighted to announce that the Crowdfunder in support of the Piping Times/Piping Today digitisation and new annual has now passed £10,000! If you haven't made a donation yet, head over to the website - our target is £28,500 and it's live until 31st May for donation! We have loved reading your comments telling us what the Piping Times and Piping Today have meant to you, and here are just a few to give you a flavour: Jack Lee: Love this project! I have many old copies that I enjoy reading from time to time. I encourage pipers to get behind this project and make the Piping Times available to all pipers. Scots Guards: The Scots Guards support this event strongly. Sandy Menzies: My son Rory is the youngest member of the NYPBoS and we as a family have enjoyed receiving Piping Today and the very interesting and well put together articles, news and reviews . Jane Spicer: What a magnificent project! I'll still keep my boxes and boxes of Piping Times and Piping Today issues collected over the years, but will be very glad to be able to access issues online. Nobody penned an editorial like Seumas!! Celtic Arts Foundation: Such an important project - proud to support it! William Donaldson A long overdue venture with regard to Piping Times. An invaluable source of information on the pipes and their culture taken altogether, and so few Scottish libraries held complete runs of the hard-copy version Donate now at www.crowdfunder.co.uk/pipingtimes

Donate today to support the Piping Times & Piping Today!
Help us preserve the Piping Times and Piping Today, and publish the first Piping Times Annual through our just launched Crowdfunder campaign! In April last year we published the last editions of our magazines the Piping Times and Piping Today, as the pandemic took hold the costs of publication were too great to continue. This year, we need your help to crowdfund our project to digitise the archive of both magazines as well as produce the first volume of a Piping Times annual. We need to raise £28,500 to to make this happen, so watch our short video to find out more, then head to our Crowdfunding page to donate today: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/pipingtimes
