Find Your True Voice
💫 Transforming people into fearless, confident & captivating performers Find a new perspective on your life.
I work with people who have a public persona: lawyers, doctors, performers, and all professionals and business leaders. I help them build confidence in who they are and what they want to achieve so that they can go out and achieve it.
The most common reason performers lose the joy for what they do is the inner voice. It’s the way they talk to themselves. The trouble is, when you are feeling low you are more likely to bully yourself and treat yourself in a negative way, which just makes the situation worse.
Instead, try asking yourself what you want. I know that this can feel dangerous because you think what you will answer is to do nothing, or something that won’t help you. You don’t trust yourself.
In reality, if you ask yourself what you really want (not in the instant or in terms of instant gratification, but in terms of your life and happiness) you will find that the answer is much wiser than you might expect.
It turns out that what you want is almost always the same as what you need, when you consider all the implications of the decision.
You are less likely to procrastinate, and more likely to get on with the things that enhance your life with a little joy in your heart.
You will return to being the boss in your own life 🌟💪

I run workshops designed to help you make that shift.
If you're ready to get out of your head and into action, join me in London. You’ll have the chance to work with me one-on-one on your thoughts and performance. Plus, I'll be bringing in other experts to guide you on different aspects of your journey.
Don't miss this chance to grow beyond your fears.
Some quotes from The Courageous Performer Podcast's latest episode: 'Changing Your Thoughts as a Performer '
There are a number of reasons you might be playing small. Most of them boil down to staying safe. You may have been told to be small or learned to be small through painful experiences.
But you don’t have to stay small and the world deserves to hear you. You have a contribution to make and you will serve the world if you make it.
WE WANT TO HEAR YOU!
Stop believing success will bring you confidence.
This has two negative impacts: firstly: you see confidence as something you can only have in the future (not true) and secondly, it stops you from seeing the success you achieve. If you measure your success by your confidence and you never feel confident, you will likely see yourself as a fraud even if others think you are successful.
Stop believing that getting everything right will make you feel safe.
It won’t for two reasons. Firstly you will rarely think you have got everything right (because you are your own worst critic) and secondly, this belief will cause your sense of safety to plummet. Instead, if your sense of safety comes from a belief that you will be ok even if you don’t get everything right, then this is more robust and achievable.
Stop believing that you are the only one who feels the way you do.
Imposter syndrome is fuelled by the belief that everyone else has their stuff together and you are the only one who doesn’t. It isn’t true. That’s the reason I’m building the community I am is because one of the best ways to let go of imposter syndrome is to realise you are not alone. Find a community of like-minded people who want to achieve the same things as you, and connect. You will be surprised at how much this can help.
Some useful tips from my latest Episode 🤍
True confidence frees you from the need to prove anything. It allows you to focus on others rather than being consumed by self-doubt or the need for validation.
Arrogance, on the other hand, is often a mask for insecurity.

🎤 Elevate your singing with a fresh perspective! 🌟
These quotes are here to remind you that the beauty of your voice lies in authenticity, not perfection. Your mindset shapes your experience—so choose connection, focus, and self-compassion as you embrace your vocal journey. 🎶

Staying grounded is key in connecting with audiences and with yourself in a performance

Understanding the performer’s cycle of control is the first step towards true freedom.
Fear makes us want to hold on tight and control things, but control creates vocal, intellectual, and emotional tension.
**When you dare to break this cycle, it feels awesome, and you naturally perform better.**
To truly perform with freedom, you have to let go, which means you can't be in control.
When you can't control, you have to trust yourself, and trusting yourself can be scary.
Fear makes us want to hold on tight and control things, but control creates vocal, intellectual, and emotional tension.
**When you dare to break this cycle, it feels awesome, and you naturally perform better.**
Perfection is tempting. You think once you reach it, you'll feel secure.
But your audience doesn't want perfection. They want good, even brilliant, but not perfect because perfect feels distant and unrelatable.
People crave connection. The irony is, chasing perfection often makes you worse, but focusing on connection makes you better.
Connecting with others enhances your delivery, skills, and content, leading to true mastery.
✨ Still chasing perfection?✨
Swipe through these slides for a reminder that's close to my heart. 💖
1️⃣ Audiences don't connect with perfect.
2️⃣ Audiences go to performances to feel something.
3️⃣ To feel, they have to connect.
4️⃣ To connect, they have to trust.
5️⃣ We only trust what feels real.
6️⃣ Perfect doesn’t feel real.
7️⃣ So audiences don’t trust or connect with perfect.
8️⃣ Stop chasing perfect! It’s not what audiences want.
I’ve learned through my years of coaching and real impact as a performer happens in the moments of real honesty and humanity. ✨ It's those genuine, raw, and sometimes messy moments that resonate deeply get the audience feeling something, which means they will connect with your performance. 💬❤️
Remember, it’s your humanity that draws people in, not your perfection. Perfection just leaves them cold and disconnected. 🌟

🌟 **Embrace Imperfection for Greater Success** 🌟
✨ "I knew letting go of perfection would mean I would enjoy life more, I just didn’t realise it would improve the quality of my work!" ✨
Perfectionism can often feel like a badge of honor, but it can also hold us back. My client discovered that by releasing the need for everything to be perfect, not only did they find more joy in their daily life, but their work improved dramatically too! 🎨📈
The key? Reducing the pressure of failing. When the fear of making mistakes is removed, creativity and productivity can truly flourish. 🌱
Swipe left to see how embracing imperfection can lead to unexpected success and a more fulfilling life. ➡️
