We were "assigned" Harrie@Boo to a Goose for our recent Wedding at Ever After, at Lower Grenofen ~ with "Wedding Cake" being part of the package.
We had never met Harrie, only through email communication and seeing her stunning creations on social media.
From an introductory email from Harrie, and an vision from us, our beautiful wedding cake was created!
What can we say?
Wow doesn't even cover it...
It not only looked beautiful, it also tasted amazing, with full compliments from not only us, but also, all at our wedding party.
Should you be looking for a wedding cake, you really won't be disappointed with the professionalism and talent that comes from her kitchen, and clearly the fresh ingredients used.

A pleasure to create canapés for the 130+ at this wonderful event 👌🏼
September Saturdays are always busy and yesterday was no exception…
First on the agenda was a trip to Hotel Endsleigh to set up this gorgeous semi naked cake with buttercream flowers - completed with a sensational floral wreath created by Hunny 'B' Florist.
Then it was off to Coombe Trenchard Weddings to create a delicious treat table of mini cakes and macarons in the couples favourite flavours.
And finally a private dinner of which I only managed to get a photo of the starter - Shallot tatin with whipped feta and candied walnuts.. this was followed by Rump of lamb, Smokey harrisa aubergine, caramelised cauliflower cream, Persian lentils, wilted spinach and pomegranate jus and finally a poached pear crumble with dark chocolate centre, vanilla creme anglaise and pear syrup.
- Twice baked salmon soufflé with tomato and pine nut salad
- Pressed belly of pork, pork and apricot Bon Bon, creamed butternut, charred baby corn and a tarragon and caper jus
- Chocolate torte with whipped vanilla feta, blackberries, candied hazelnuts and an espresso syrup
This weather is at least very inspiring for Autumn menu planning … which are you choosing?

Dinner Alfresco starting with canapés, sharing dishes for main course and a plated chocolate pudding 💕
- Local asparagus, fried burford brown, spiced butter and sourdough crumb
- Rump of lamb, harissa cauliflower, spelt, shallot and pomegranate
- lemon tart with vanilla creme fraiche and elderflower poached strawberries
- Chorizo scotch egg with whipped feta
- Rump of lamb, Smokey aubergine, confit leeks and pomegranate
- milk chocolate cremeaux, salted caramel, local strawberries

A perfectly smooth white chocolate ganache finish with edible pearls at the base of each tier and a semi crescent of beautiful blooms - gorgeous!
What an honour to be able to create my Brother and new Sister-In-Laws wedding cake last week. Georgie gave me complete free reign and Ed’s only instruction was ‘don’t f**k it up’… this was the result of such guidance and I was so so happy with how it came together!
