The summer Marble Golf day took place last Friday .. and despite biblical rain wind and cold the 48 players had a great time at the costa del Clacton golf club .. with a raffle and auction we raised a net profit of £3,003 which is a new record .. pictured is the winning team of Malcolm Easton and his Braiswick pals .. thanks to all who supported

🌲This is the annual Christmas Fundraising page for our charity's Christmas appeal which helps families and social care institutions in the region of Berkovitsa, Montana, Bulgaria.

✈️A team of Marble volunteers visited Berkovitsa in November this year to discuss what is the most urgent help required.
🦸Please support us if you can. 100 % of your donations will be spent on projects. Our volunteers cover all of their travel expenses.
🍓🥐🥪The money will be spent on supporting all projects of the charity, including buying food requested by the institutions, buying hygiene essentials and small gifts.
🙋Some of the people the charity is helping are: -mothers who need rehousing because they are now in a crisis centre because of domestic abuse
-adults with special needs who live in assisted living houses
-the elderly in a supported living home in Bistrilitsa (a village near Berkovitsa) Дом за пълнолетни лица с деменция

The dream boys of Coe , Rob and Crawley have arrived in Berk for a few days of sorting out the Xmas boxes and visiting the institutions .. you see us at the fabulous new pizza restaurant with our new friend Albana who thankfully speaks English.. fab food !!

Dear friends,
We need your urgent help.
Whilst we have been experiencing a heat wave, in the last few days Berkovitsa, the community you have helped to support has faced unprecedented heavy rainfall and as we write this, it is forecast to continue through the coming week. This has led to catastrophic flooding throughout the town and their government has declared a state of emergency in the area.

Members of our charity who live in Berkovitsa are asking for our urgent help with funding basic emergency support to purchase fundamentals such as waterproof coats, boots, sacks + sand to build flood defences, and disinfectant to help prevent disease.
