We just wanted to let you know that we are currently out of stock of the Marathon Plus 24 x 1 tyres. We do have them on order but are not expecting them for possibly another 3 to 4 weeks. We are aware that there may be a general shortage throughout the UK currently.

However, all is not lost! We know it's hard to drag you away from such good tyres but we do now have a very good alternative in the Maxxis Alpha Protect tyre. It's that time of year again when we are all getting ready for the holidays.

We wanted to let you know that we will be having our usual two week shutdown over the holidays, so we will close from Thursday 21th of December and will return on Thursday 4th of January.

Passion for Disability? Check out this job with Spokz People

Looking for a manager job in disability? Mel, our director, is trying to take a step back and work more behind the scenes developing content and training.

Practical information:
We are looking for a disabled person who is passionate about Spokz People's work to take over as day-to-day manager, perhaps with others to share the responsiblity? 5-7 hours a week work mainly organising the team, delegating and answering emails, giving tours of the site, completing our annual funding application and admin/legal/HMRC side of the company. We all are paid the same @ £10.42ph and there are opportunities for additional pro rata income for any ad-hoc training we secure/develop/offer. You would become a director as well and help develop our strategy.

Skills we need:
You don't need to be a qualified therapist. You do need to be good at organising and confident enough to talk enthusiastically to people over email, phone and video. It helps if you understand or are willing to learn about the social model of disability, ableism and internalised oppression so you can educate others about this. And of course you need to have and be able to communicate your life long passion and belief in the power of supporting disabled people's mental health and wellbeing :-)
