Middlesex North West also has a County Campsite, the Willow Tree Centre, which is set within 15 acres of land with camping facilities, a purpose built holiday house plus training function rooms. Sharing Sunday - "1st Hillingdon Guides had a fabulous time on their hut sleepover during half term. From apple and messy doughnut bobbing, to toasting marshmallows, a walk to the chippy and a hike back through the graveyard whilst howling at the full moon, then participated in Girlguiding London & South East England trivial pursuit challenge with our Harry Potter themed game, then watched The Greatest Showman and even managed a few hours of sleep. We all had a great time, the chippy did a great job getting all our orders spot on and even gave us a discount." Kerry, Unit Leader
Sharing Sunday - "4th Ickenham Guides designed their own badges for their Make Change skill builder and Craftivism interest badge, to champion a cause or charity that meant something to them. We had some very creative and bright designs to spread their messages!" Hils, Unit Leader
1st Ruislip Manor Guides did a dancathon led by Emma from Spotlight School of Dance to raise money for Children in Need. The girls and leaders had a brilliant evening and they raise £80. Well done everyone.

Sharing Sunday - "Girls and leaders from 3rd Hayes and 5th Hillingdon Brownies had a ‘London Adventure’ recently. Girls spent time during their weekly meetings planning their trip into London including what trains they would need to catch and what sites they would like to see the most. The day included visiting St James’ Park to spot the pelicans, Big Ben and St Pauls cathedral. The highlight for everyone by far was watching the changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace" Claire, Unit Leader - 5th Hillingdon Brownies
It's week, 1st Ruislip Guides take part every year and were asked to take part in filming for this years promotional videos. The Guides had a great evening, one Guide shared, "I felt a bit shy with the camera crew, but found that I was really passionate about our campaign and couldn't stop talking!". Sharing Sunday "2nd Ruislip Manor Brownies and Guides had a great time when 14 Brownies, 14 Guides and 6 leaders took part in Bunk Down at the Bunker. A sleepover organised by Battle of Britain Bunker, Uxbridge. Girls had a fabulous time taking part in activities including finding out how telescopes work, contributing to a poppy memorial, a tour of the bunker and interesting talk from the RAF (which happen to be parents of our brownie) about their jobs, where they have travelled, and how planes fly. After a film, we settled down to sleep under the planes in the exhibition area which was amazing. Great fun was had by all." Kathy, Unit Leader

There was great excitement on the coach as 48 Brownies, Guides and Volunteers headed to Chessington World of Adventures Resort, for a day full of fun and thrill seeking. Looking for craft inspiration for your 2024 programme? On Saturday 25th November we are hosting a Volunteer Craft day where you will complete 4 different crafts which you can take back to your units for your girls to enjoy. Each craft activity will include a demonstration to help get you started and is suitable for all ages from Rainbows through to Rangers. You will leave with a booklet containing instructions and information on purchasing the items to help you with planning the craft for your units. Girlguiding Wealdstone - Maricas Makeover have launched their 'Buy a Brick' fundraiser. Their renovation project is underway and they need help raising the final funds to finish transforming their Headquarters.
For each £5 donation, your name will be added to their tribute wall made out of Lego bricks, which will be displayed in their Headquarters.

The transformation of the Headquarters includes, making the venue accessible to all with addition of step free access, an accessible toilet as well as improved toilet facilities and a new kitchen. This transformation will mean they will have are a safe space giving them the opportunity to offer even more exciting activities for all members.

Sharing Sunday "1st Hillingdon Guides had an absolutely blast at Wellies and Wristbands this August at Foxlease. The bands were all amazing, the guides were right up the front of the stage each night never stopped dancing and singing and still had energy to do canoeing, climbing team building, henna tattoos escape rooms, zip wires, crafts as well as all rocking the best outfits for the Around the World theme fancy dress night.
