We have had Royal Mail contact us to say our postage costs are going up on Monday. This is the second rise this year and includes 2 new subsidies which look like they are for businesses only. More can be found on our Sister Sites Newsletters and Forums.

To be sure of getting your order at our current P+P cost please order before 1.30pm on Friday 29th September 2023.

We try to keep our prices as low as possible but postage is a big chunk of our takings which is why we can't absorb this big jump in price. We do hope you understand :-)

All of the other CPU Enterprises websites have been moving over to a new host this past 2 weeks as our old host let us down.

We decided to only move the Craft Kits website when we were sure the new host was better than the old one.

We are pleased to say that their moves are now complete so we have gone ahead and moved our website to new hosts.

As far as we can tell, and we have done a LOT of testing, all of the site is working well and quicker.

If you do find a problem with ANY of our pages please do let us know asap so our in house team can correct it straight away :-)

Our last Royal Mail pickup, before we close for a week, is tomorrow (Friday 4th August). Please order before 1.30pm to be included in that pickup.
Orders placed after 1.30pm will be securely held till Tue 15th August. Your card is never charged until the day your parcel is ready to be post.
The phone line will not be answered but we may answer emails when we can. Looks like the weather will be a washout so will probably have the time answer emails :-)

Craft Kits and Gifts - Newest Kits added recently Craft Kits - Kits for all ages including kids and beginners

We have just had the Royal Mail price rise notification and they will be going up quite a bit. This is on top of the Fuel Subsidy rise a few months ago.

Unfortunately we have no choice except to put up the prices. The increases we are doing do not cover the full price of the rises but we always want to give customers the best prices we can.

The minimum P+P cost will rise from £1.50 to £1.60. This is for up to approx 90g of kits, which is quite a few Mouseloft Kits. Prices above this weight will show in the Shopping Basket automatically when you order and changes at various different weights.

To make sure your order will be at the existing prices please order before 1.30pm on Friday 31st March 2023.

We are sorry we have had to do this, we will always try to keep prices as low as we can.

Royal Mail Strikes

If the Royal Mail strikes go ahead, we will be putting contingency plans in place.

The dates affecting us at the moment are as follows.

Friday 26th August

Friday 9th September

We pride ourselves that, unlike some online retailers, we never charge your card until the day Royal Mail picks up your parcel. Obviously we need to make a slight adjustment to this philosophy on strike days.

We had two options to choose from.

a) Work Thursday instead, but we dismissed that as customers ordering on Thursday after 1.30pm and on Friday would be waiting too long.

b) As both days are Fridays, we found out we can take the parcels ourselves to the sorting office early on Saturday morning, thus minimising the delay for customers. So we went with this option.

We will have to do a bit of paperwork on the Saturday to make this work but we have a member of staff willing to do that to help customers.

Your card will be charged on the Friday and the label on the parcel will have that date.

All this may delay your parcel by a day, or maybe longer if the strike has an impact in your area, but we think it is the best option for customers.

Just a quick reminder than orders placed up to 1.30pm tomorrow (Friday 12th August 2022) should be posted out tomorrow.

Any order placed after 1.30pm will be held securely until we re-open a week later on Tuesday 23rd August.

Just a quick note to say we will be closed for staff holidays for the week starting Monday 15th August (next week). Therefore we will not be open on Tuesday 16th August & Friday 19th August and cannot send out parcels on those days.
You can still place orders for sending out when we re-open, your card details will be safe and your card will not be charged until the day we send out your parcel.
This is the first time we have closed for holidays in the summer, in fact it is the first summer holiday I personally have had with my family for 15 years.
We will try to answer emails if we can, but we will also set up auto responders just in case we are having too much fun 🙂
You can order as normal this week and parcels will be sent out on Tuesday 9th August and Friday 12th August as usual.
We will be back open on Tuesday 23rd August refreshed and ready to serve our valued customers 🙂

We are always on the lookout for different crafts for our website, so were very interested when one of our suppliers told us about these new kits.

Funny Friends DIY Animals. There are 3 to choose from and each one contains 2 items to make.

They all use Foam or Silk Clay, which is a type of lightweight modelling clay which air dries.

The kits also contain Poly Balls which you cover with the clay for the base of the items, plus Chenille Stems, Beads and Eyes.

Some of them could be used as an Easter Craft but please order before 1.30pm on Tuesday 12th April.

A family member of our office staff has tested positive for Covid19 and is isolating in her bedroom. The staff member has so far tested negative but we have decided to close for a few days just in case.

We intend to be open again by Friday 1st April, with extra safe practices in place, assuming the staff member continues to get negative results.
