"The picture on the left was taken on November 12th 2022 and the picture on the right is roughly 15 weeks prior to that (beginning of august).

I had decided to better myself. I’ve tried this many times before and would inevitably fail but this time was different. My motivation was fuelled by many things… age, the kids, my running, events next year that require looking semi decent… there were a lot of reasons but the only one I now realise matters is that I’ve done it for myself.

Slimming World is something I have done many times before but this time the group I attend has made the ultimate difference. I love my SW group and apart from 2 weeks booked holiday I haven’t missed a weigh in.

Christmas and new year have been enjoyed thoroughly and for the first time in a very very long time I didn’t feel guilty for enjoying myself 🥂
