Primary School Allocation Day!
We hope your little ones have been given the school place you wanted. If you have been given a place at Croyland, we will be in touch in the coming weeks with information about moving up to school 💗

Our children have been fully immersed in finding the big bad wolf this week! We have even had a visit from the giant too. This has inspired the children to write, make wanted posters, leave messages for them and building traps.

In our music this week the children have been learning to keep a beat. They enjoyed using the instruments whilst singing along to the grand old duke of York.

In our maths learning we have been learning about odd and even numbers and doubles. On your way home from school, can you spot the odd and even numbers.

For next week we will be looking at where we live compared with houses from around the world. We would love some photos of where you live. Please email these to your class email address.

Oh no!! It looks like we have had a visitor over night. Who do you think it could be?

Happy New Year to you all! We have had a great first week back in school. Our theme this term is traditional fairy tales.

🍪 This week we have started with The Gingerbread Man. We have enjoyed retelling the story, creating new characters for the old lady to bake and making our own delicious gingerbread.

🔢 In our maths learning we have been learning about 0. When you are out on walks, see how many 0's you can see.

🌎 We have continued our knowledge and understanding of the world learning by learning about the town and country that we live in. The children loved exploring the globe.

👫 We have been encouraging lots of cooperative play and team work in our sand pit, mud pit and with the marble run.

❄️ Next week is due to be very cold! Please ensure the children have suitable clothing, particularly if they are attending nature explorers.
