Þjórsá - The river of bulls. A volcanic river in Iceland was the inspiration here. The pure rawness and power of this country is one of natures awesome wonders. Go visit!

Naming art work… I do think this can be the hardest job sometimes… river something, stream something else.. or seas or oceans… well this one isn’t named yet but here it is.. 90 x 60cm on birch art boards. Loving the texture contrast.

In Spain I have just realised plaster goes off much quicker here than the U.K.. especially in a 38 degree heatwave 🥵… like before you can actually use it! 🤦🏻♀️😂

The Outer Hebrides ‘Uist’. A commission for a lovely lady as a present for her sister. With both coming from these beautiful islands, the birthday present was a hit… and a few tears were involved too! 🥹☺️
