Odeon cinema in Kettering to close as out-of-town site cleared for redevelopment Owners of the Odeon Cinema in Kettering have confirmed it will be closing down in January.

Give Kettering Community Cycle Club a like so you hear about their next fun ride, they are all about making cycling accessible so you won’t end up on any routes that are taxing!

This Wednesday from 10:30am-12:30pm head along to Wicksteed Park learning centre (behind the ice cream parlour) to the free school uniform pop up with Bev and the LIVE Team.

Kettering Community Cycle Club and Brightwayz are heading to Wicksteed on their monthly community cycle ride on Sunday - meet outside McDonalds on the High St at 11am to join them on a chilled ride out with a coffee at the end!

Join us tomorrow at the North Park Active Family Fun Day, we will be there with our cycle mechanic so if you would like a free cycle check including any basic fixes then bring your bike along to the Brightwayz stand. We will also have a selection of fun bikes and balance bikes to try and our cycle trainer will be there to give tips on learning to ride.🌞🚲🛴

Ben, Ben, James and Marnie headed down Thurston Drive to see how the butterfly bank opposite the entrance to KLV was getting on. The butterfly bank was only built last year, a project between Jamie Wildman of Butterfly Conservation and North Northants Council. The bank is now flourishing with wild flowers for butterflies and other pollinators 🌺🌸🌼

Most species of British butterflies, along with other pollinators, have been in serious decline for many years. The butterfly bank provides the ideal habitat for butterflies, moths and caterpillars to feed and winter. 🐛🐛

The Bens, James and Marnie did not see too many butterflies there, due to an earlier rain shower and a stiff breeze, but did record their sightings on the Big Butterfly Count App. Try downloading the App, give it a go this weekend, and let us know how you get on – anybody Can-can 😊

From Kettering asylum hostel to 'out of this world' luxury hotel - the venue being restored to its former glory Work is under way at Kettering’s historic Royal Hotel to make it an ‘out-of-this-world’ luxury wedding and conference venue.

Head down to Ise Lodge Skatepark tomorrow from 11:30am for AggroFest 3 - skating, food and some pretty loud music will greet you!

Along with a wonderful community of very lovely people 💚

We have received several complaints about Labour canvassers targeting homes displaying Em for MP posters and VOTE GREEN signs.

In some instances, canvassers have been persistently visiting these homes and behaving in a way that our supporters find intimidating, even after being politely asked to leave.

This has been particularly distressing for the lady below, one of the many people who have reached out to us.

Whilst we are all running a hard campaign, intimidating people in their homes is unacceptable, no matter what party you are.

As a team we have great respect for the Labour candidate, and appreciate she and her team may not be aware of this, and we have emailed them now in the hope this can be rectified.

However we draw a line when it comes to maintaining integrity - everyone deserves to be treated with the basic levels of respect and human decency, no matter how passionate anyone is about a candidate.
