Rotherham Rise provides a range of support services for adults, young people and children who have been affected by domestic violence and abuse and child sexual exploitation. This includes:
- Safe temporary accommodation
- Outreach support
- One to one support
- Group work
- Learning opportunities
- Emotional and practical support
- Specialist support for children and young people
- Access to services

We are currently really in need of donations towards a new cooker for the refuge!
We have had our kitchen refurbished to include a space for a cooker, and we are hoping to be able to offer group sessions for adults and children around healthy eating, cooking on a budget, meal planning, life skills, baking, cooking for celebration events, etc.

Our Story

Rotherham Rise provides a range of support services for women, men and children who have been affected by domestic violence and abuse. This includes:
- Safe temporary accommodation for up to 10 families
- Outreach support for up to 15 women
- One to one support
- Group work
- Advocacy
- Learning opportunities
- Emotional and practical support
- Peer support
- Specialist support for children and young people
- Access to services

We also provide help and support to survivors of child sexual exploitation. This is open to men and women of all ages.

At Rotherham Rise we will:

- Believe your experiences of violence and abuse – no evidence is needed
- Operate a policy of confidentiality to prioritise all women and children’s safety
- Provide a non direct, non-judgemental service
- Actively challenge discrimination and promote equality of opportunity
- Treat all women and children as individuals ensuring that their needs are taken into consideration including religion, culture, disability, sexual orientation, gender, age, HIV status or race
