Poppy & Myla, mother and daughter have been waiting for the right home to come along to offer them a loving, forever life together. Well they've got a fantastic home with a lovely couple who are very caring people and they're settling in so well already. We're so happy for them 🥰 Thanks go to her wonderful foster carers Martyn & Jane for building their confidence enough to let this day happen. These girls were so scared when they came into our rescue but they're much happier, playful, friendly girls now. The power of fostering is just amazing 🤩. ANOTHER NEW GIRL SAFE INTO FOSTER - MEET MOLLIE THE 5YR OLD LURCHER
Mollie is a very sweet, calm girl who needed our help so she went into foster on Sunday and she's settling really well so far. Mollie will be spayed in 2 weeks time at our vets and then she'll be ready for adoption following her recovery. Meanwhile she's enjoying life with her foster brother Finley the Lurcher and her fab foster parents. Onwards and upwards darling girl 🩷🤍💛💚🩷🤍💛💚

Welcome New Girl Jess the 9yr old Cocker Spaniel ❤️
This gorgeous, submissive and timid girl came in as an emergency a few days ago. She's sadly a quiet timid girl, not your usual fussy happy spaniel 😔. She's underweight as well but she'll soon get back to full strength with some good quality food. She has had a sad life so far, being kept in a shed for most of her years but thanks to one caring person, she was rescued from that horrible life and brought to us. We thank her rescuer for doing the right thing and not turning a blind eye 🙏. We will now work with her and make sure she has everything she needs, build up her confidence and help her become a waggy tailed spaniel once again. She's a sweet girl who's scared of lots of things but doesn't show any aggression. She's good with other dogs but would need a calm home with no young children. She will also need a very secure garden. Jess isn't a giddy, energetic type yet she likes her bed but once she gains confidence we're sure that will change. If you have a calm, quiet life with experience of timid dogs please get in touch. Sorry no cats. Jess is currently in foster in Doncaster.

SAY HELLO 👋 TO NEW BOY LOKI THE 8MTH OLD YORKSHIRE TERRIER 😍😍
This gorgeous little boy came into foster with us last week. He's very underweight, poor lad is only 2.6kg so we're working hard to increase his bodyweight and he's getting good quality food, 4 times a day. He's had his first vaccination and will be neutered as soon as he's strong enough. He's a very sweet boy, very affectionate and loving. He gets on great with other dogs but not cat tested as yet. Loki would like a home with another friendly dog ideally but could go as the only dog if he had lots of company and walks/adventures. Loki will need a secure garden and lots of company. This young girl is at urgent risk of losing her life very soon unless a rescue place or foster home can be found for her. Unfortunately we don’t have a foster suitable for her atm and are appealing for your help to save her precious life. She is dog friendly and very soft and loving and loves to play, can be left for a few hours alone and is good in the car. She can live with children over 12 and needs a fully enclosed garden and a couple of good walks a day. Please get in touch if you can help. GORGEOUS LITTLE BOBBY THE JACK-CHI IS STILL WAITING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME 🏡
Bobster is a lovely little character full of life, love and affection. Bobby is only 14mth old and he loves to play with other dogs so we're looking for a home with another friendly, playful young dog, medium to small breed. Bobby is in foster with 5 other small dogs and he knows which ones are his playmates and which ones prefer to be left alone. Bobby is living with children over 8yrs old. He hasn't been cat tested yet. He loves to play ball and so will need a nice secure garden to run around in. He is very loving and affectionate and will jump on your lap if he gets chance. He needs some more practice travelling in the car but he's well behaved just a little travel sick sometimes. Bobby likes to jump onto things so walls and fences need to be at least 5ft high even though he's only tiny he can jump. He will need two good walks a day, even though he is small, as he loves his walks and is quite active. Please only apply if you can offer him the time, companionship and exercise he needs. More happy updates to brighten your day. Senior boy Gus came into our rescue after sadly losing his doting mum in a tragic accident. He went into foster care with an amazing family and he went from strength to strength, finding his smile back and his puppyhood. We can't thank his foster carers Mandy & family enough for the love, kindness and patience they showed Gus whilst living with them., because if that he's now enjoying his new life in his very own permanent home . Well pleased to say he has an excellent home with a very loving mum and an older Jack Russell sister who love him to bits and he's getting all the attention, walks, loves and ball playing he craves. This gorgeous boy has really landed on all four paws and he is thriving. He has a whole new lease of life. We're sure your mummy will be looking down on you with a smile on her face knowing you are safe and happy. Go on and live your best life ever Gus, you deserve it 🩵💙🩵💙🩵

SASHA UPDATE 🩷🩷
Beautiful Sasha is doing so well in her fantastic new home. Her skin has cleared up really well and she has gained weight so she's now at her optimum weight of 18kg. She was only 15kg when she came into our rescue. She was so painfully thin, she had bald/sore patches all over her body and urine stains on her back legs and tail amongst other issues. Look at her now 😍, we're so proud of her and so thankful to her wonderful foster mum Alison who was super patient with her and gave her time to gain confidence and to de-stress and with our advice/ support and medical help she once again became a smiling happy girl. Sasha is the sweetest girl and she deserves every happiness. Her new family are wonderful, kind people and she's now settling in so well and getting used to her new routine. Go Sasha you're a very special girl who will now be loved as you have always wanted and more. Happy days from now on sweetheart 😘😘❤️❤️

SWEET POPPY THE 10YR OLD YORKIE IS READY FOR HER NEW HOME 🥳🥳
We've had her biopsy results back after the removal of a huge tumour from her right o***y and it looks like we got it out in time. She has clear margins so all the cancer has been removed as far as we can tell. She's now spayed so no reoccurrence and she can get on with the rest of her life 😜. She obviously felt much better after the surgery as we've never known such a quick recovery. She's done so well and she's now ready for her forever home 🏠. Poppy is a really lovely, gorgeous little girly who deserves to be the centre of someone's world. Type of home she'd like...
🐾 lots of company but can be left alone for short periods
🐾 Can live with or without other dogs but not cat tested
🐾 Would love a nice, safe garden, she currently uses a cat flap in her foster home which she took to straight away
🐾 Poppy is housetrained and would like a couple of nice walks a day
🐾 Lots of love and attention but someone who has had terriers before and understand the breed

💜💜Look who came to visit yesterday evening💜💜
Gorgeous little Woody is continuing to do well and has now been officially adopted by his wonderful, caring foster mum. He has a way to go to gain all his weight but his Vet is very happy with his progress so far. 💪🥰 Everything this poor little pup has been through could have been avoided by simple regular worm treatments. Instead he suffered horrendous diarrhoea due to a parasite which turned his bowel inside out and nearly cost him his life. Thankfully the vets asked us to help him and along with another charity (HYPS) and the help of our joint supporters as well as Lincs Doberman supporters, we were able to raise the £4000 for his life saving surgery and thankfully he is still here and now thriving. Thank you to everyone who supported and donated towards his care, we couldn’t have dreamt of a better outcome for him. 🙏🙏❤️💜❤️💜

Our two gorgeous elderly boys are truly living their best life thanks to their wonderful, kind new family. As you can see they're enjoying a trip to the seaside and their mum says it's like they've always been there. They're so well behaved and they fitted straight into their new home 🏠. They are loved to pieces that's for sure. ❤️ We are chuffed to bits for them both. 💪💪😜😜🐾🐾

She’s still patiently waiting for her very own forever home and has been under our care for months now. Her fosterer will be going away soon and we cannot put her into a kennel after all the work she has done to get over the anxiety this caused. Can anyone open their heart and their home to this lovely girl? She needs a pet free and child free home with someone around the majority of the day. She’s very loving and a typical loyal staffy pocket rocket.

POPPY UPDATE 🐾🐾🩷💜
Thank you for your donations towards Poppy's surgery. She is now recovering very well considering and is being taken great care of by her fantastic, experienced fosterers Martyn & Jane. We have raised £303 of the £813.69 needed. Just to update..Poppy had to have emergency surgery on Friday for what was thought to be a huge tumour on her spleen but actually turned out to be a grapefruit sized tumour on her right o***y. Her left o***y was also cystic and nasty looking. The fantastic staff at PETmedic Veterinary services performed life saving surgery and removed the tumour and also spayed her at the same time. We now have to wait for the biopsy report on how serious this tumour is and if she needs any more treatment..we're really hoping we have removed it all and she can continue to go on and find her forever home 🤞🤞. She also had her teeth scaled and polished whilst under as they needed attention too. So all in all just over £800 which we are £500 short 😞😞.

SOME FANTASTIC NEWS FOR OUR LITTLE WOODY 🪵☀️🤩
A huge thank you to all who donated towards Woody's emergency surgery and to HYPS for raising the other half of his £4k vet fees. We are truly grateful to them and their followers too 🙏. Without all of you guys and the two rescues joining together this sweet little puppy would not be here today!!. Literally he would have died it was that serious BUT look at him now 😍😍. Not only is he doing great, gaining weight, energy and body condition but he's also being ADOPTED by his fantastic foster carer Jess who is also his registered Veterinary Nurse.🥳🥳 Woody couldn't be in better hands and we're so happy for them both.💘 Jess has done an excellent job of caring for him post surgery as have the staff at Chantry Vets we can't thank everyone enough for pulling together to save his precious life 🤩🤩. 😭😭WE URGENTLY NEED YOUR HELP AGAIN TO SAVE POPPY THE YORKSHIRE TERRIER 🥹 We're devastated that little Poppy is not well and we have to do yet another fundraising appeal 😥🐾☔️😥🐾☔️

We’re a tiny charity, and are really ‘up against it’ right now, 🐾☔️🐾 … we know our appeals seem to be repetitive, but we really do HAVE to try to raise the funds we need to cover the bills for all of our dogs - it’s all essential care that they simply cannot go without 🐾☔️🐾

Today our little new girl Poppy visited our rescue vets for routine health check and vaccination but on examination it was clear to our amazing vet that poor Poppy had a huge mass in her abdomen 😲😳 she carried out an ultrasound examination and could see there was a very nasty looking tumor in her tummy that was very swollen and likely to rupture 😭. We had no choice but to elect for emergency surgery to remove the mass. Once our vet had opened her abdomen it became clear that the mass was a huge ovarian tumour the size of a grapefruit. This as a now being removed in full and she has had a full hysterectomy as well. The tumour will be sent away for histology so we can confirm whether it's malignant or benign and if it's malignant how aggressive is it? It will also let us know if she will need further treatment like chemotherapy etc . We are hoping that it's an isolated tumour therefore not spread and removing the womb and ovaries will ensure it is eradicated completely. Poppy will need quite a bit of aftercare and regular checkups which all costs our charity hard earned funds. This is quite a big operation for this tiny Yorkshire Terrier who is almost 11 years old and what's more frustrating yet again is this could have all been avoided if she would have been spayed when she was younger. 😔☹️

We all gave it our best for her and she fought so bravely but sadly it was too late for her and she had to just let go and rest in peace. Even though we never knew you baby girl, we will never forget you 🥲. We asked that the wonderful vet team cradle you and tell you you were loved so you didn’t leave this earth without knowing you were loved and cared about. Run free little one, without pain or worry. It's just neverending 😭 This poor little girl has been rushed into hospital as she is critically ill with a serious womb infection, Pyometra. Cleo is only 4yrs old and sadly her owner was unable to afford the life saving treatment (please no negative comments). So her only option was for rescue to step up or for her to be put to sleep. We couldn't let her die 😭😭 So she's in for emergency surgery right now for a full hysterectomy. Hopefully she will survive this as she's still young but it's touch and go 😞. WELCOME POPPY & MYLA 🧡🐾🧡
These two beauties are mother and daughter. Poppy is the Yorkshire Terrier and she's Mum, Myla is Yorkie x Chihuahua x Poodle so a ChorkiePoo 😍. Poppy is 10yrs old and Myla is 6yrs old. They're obviously a bonded pair so we'd love to find them a new home together if possible. They are now safe in our foster care and we will be carrying out further assessments over the next week or so. Both girls seem very sweet so far and get on fine with other dogs. They'll be visiting our vets this week for vaccinations and full check up. We will also get them both spayed hopefully next week.
