A mega busy week for having a bash at British cycling national championships. George races both the criterium and the road race saying his favourite moment was “following wheel down the technical descent at full gas”

Then on Wednesday he had a good hit out at the Otley town centre races getting up the road in a strong move, which unfortunately got brought back before the inevitable sprint finish

Incredible, just incredible strength, effort, mindset from to complete the and finish 2nd overall.

1008km in 41hours and 43minutes.

Absolutely unreal riding from taking on the after 30 hours he’s ticked off 7 of the 10 check points covering 730km! “Just” 280km to go and Tom is in 2nd place overall!

Best of luck to our resident crazy man who is taking on the starting just after 10am tomorrow.

The bike is all set, the weather will hopefully be kind. Starting in Warwick, Tom will follow a fixed route passing 10 check points across the 1000km route, including some pretty gruelling climbs.

Hope all goes smoothly, we’ll be dot watching and will hopefully be able to post some updates.

Another week another WIN jumped clear with a lap to go and claimed the victory at Tameside last Tuesday 🥇 🏆

Then on Sunday the team rode the Lewis Smith memorial road race. pushed hard to form the early breakaway. followed the 2nd group who bridged across, but with 11 riders now at the front the momentum was lost with people not wanting to ride so they got brought back.

Heading to the finish it was a chaotic last lap, and the lads lost their position with splits happening all over the peloton. Tom F and George tried to move up but came from too far back to just get into the top20 and Tom J rolled in just behind.

A good hit out and the legs were there, just didn’t pan out quite right this time

The first win 🏆 of the season has landed and it’s Curtis who bags it. On Wednesday night down at the Solihull crit. On Tuesday went one step closer than the week before picking up his first podium of the year, with 3rd at Tameside. Can’t beat some summer form 🚴🏻‍♂️🚴🏻‍♂️🚴🏻‍♂️🚴🏻‍♂️🚴🏻‍♂️🚴🏻‍♂️🚴🏻‍♂️

Curtis was in action at Darley moor on Saturday, doing what he does best, being active at the front and getting in the moves. Unfortunately this one came back and he settled in for a bunch sprint, however a moved slipped away with 2 to go that he missed. He attacked the bunch and tried to bridge over but couldn’t make it. Next up we had travel up to Northumberland for the Sloan trophy regional A race. George battled hard to get in numerous breaks but these were brought back. The race finally broke up towards the finish and George sprinted well in his group to pick up a solid 10th place

Next up we’ve had and racing at Tameside the last 3 Tuesdays. Tom J building some consistent form with 2 7th’s and an 8th. Tom F continuing his points hauling with 2 trips to the podium picking up 3rd both times. Some superb riding and the form building 🚴🏻‍♂️🚴🏻‍♂️🚴🏻‍♂️🚴🏻‍♂️🚴🏻‍♂️

It’s been a busy few weeks on the road (quiet on here due to a few issues) so we’ll get you updated over the coming days on what’s been happening. First up was a couple of weeks ago was the Bradfield bash, probably (almost definitely) one of the hardest regional races in the country. raced really well with top picking up a superb top 10. George cracked on the last couple of laps but still a mega ride

5th for and 7th for Dave while battling chain issues. Dave hangs on to the lead in the V40 series. Thanks to for hosting the great event 👌🏻

It was Round 3 of the national trophy in South Shields on Sunday. Another good ride by Dave for 13th in the vets, awaiting the series standings to be updated is boss

round 3 temple Newsam and it was taking the bragging rights from the Beachill’s with a fine 3rd place in the V60. Another solid ride by Dave to 4th in the V40 and he leads the series after 3 rounds
