UK GAMES EXPO 2024:
Got chatting to Mike Woolly from Modelling For Advantage. Seems we played American Football against each other in Uni. Me for Cardiff Cobras and him for Southampton 'scumbags' 😂. Yes both teams were the bitterest of rivals as you can tell. Had a great time chewing the fat and injury stories....given not received lol.

Of course Kaiser was there as well and had good chinwag with them both. Solid friendly guys were helping out with Duncan's Band of Brothers charity game

Spent cool morning yesterday at Firestorm Games in Cardiff. The welsh Bolt Action Nationals 2024 run by South Wales Warlords Wargaming Club. Packed house of 50 players with Rhys here reading the riot act (Looks a good one for a caption contest sometime?). I was there setting up 2 tables of terrain for them. More pictures later.

So it's the Welsh Ba Nationals Coming up on 4th May 2024 at Firestorm Games. Run by South Wales Warlords Wargaming Club I have been asked to do 2 tables of terrain for them. An honour.

I also had a thought about this Warhammer Old World Basing. It will also make it compatible for other rules like Oathmark. Plus doing Sword & Spear fantasy becomes easier with all same base sizes for calculating standard move unit.

In amongst running Warpaint Figures I do sometimes get chance to do my own stuff. Usually in the small hours with the cat trying to walk over everything.
So I have been converting my old Warhammer Fantasy Battles stuff onto the new 25 x 25 bases. Starting with Skaven. Slow progress but getting there.
Only Vampire Counts, Dark Elves and Chaos to go after that
