This is something I use and recommend regularly whenever I’m stressed, worries or anxious about something.

It’ll help you re-focus your mind on the things you can do something about and gives you a rock-solid ‘to-do’ list 💪💪

And by physically putting the things you CANT control in the bin, you’ll be amazed at how much better you feel about the situation.🤯🤯🤯

😫😫We've all been there!😫😫

Whether it's looking in the mirror and focusing on the things you don't like.😟😟

Watching someone else be amazing feeling like you'll never compare.🥺🥺

Or simply believing you're not worthy of the attention, love, credit you receive at home or work (Impostor Syndrome anyone??).😩😩

And when your self confidence is taking a battering it can be hard to deal with. So know this! 🤯🤯🤯

Self-confidence isn't always an awe inspiring feeling. Sometimes being self-confident is simply letting the real you take over and not holding back - because you're amazing, you'r beautiful and you deserve to love and embrace the real you 😍😍😍

The first Monday of the Year. First day of the week. That's when you SHOULD get your s**t together, right?

Wrong...

Because you've tried this before. And it didn't work. So why are you doing the same thing again?🤪🤪

Why don't you try these three things. RIGHT NOW!

Maybe doing things today will mean you're ALREADY WINNING when you wake up on Monday?🤯🤯🤯

Have you ever had one of those moments of pure inspiration, and motivation only to convince yourself that it's better to start tomorrow?

Here's the thing...

There is no such this as 'tomorrow'. You're never in 'tomorrow' because it's a lie.

The only thing is today. RIGHT NOW! And if you're careless with your 'tomorrow' lie. You'll eventually run out of tomorrows.

Before long you'll find that it's too late and all your tomorrows have because yesterdays. And there's jack-sh!t you can do about anything that lives in yesterday.

So pull up your grown-up pants, stop lying and start trying. Today. This moment.

Do one thing that will take you one step closer to the mind, the body, the health and the life that you want!

Whether it’s anxiety, low self esteem, confidence, positivity or all round attitude towards opportunities one of the biggest causes for people have struggling in these areas is that they focus FAR too much on what others think and NOT ENOUGH on what they think.

Maybe today you say ‘F*ck you’ to the mood-hoovers, critics and bullies and just focus on what YOU want, what YOU know about yourself and why YOU F*CKING ROCK!

A bit of time loving yourself each day will transform your whole world!

Maybe you should stop lying to yourself and realise:
1 - You ARE the kind of person who... And once you accept it, you can start planning on BEING the person who...

2 - You probably won't look stupid if you get it wrong. But so what if you do? Are you doing it for me? Or someone else? Do it for you, and if you do it wrong you only have yourself to answer to!

3 - How do you know you'll 'never be able to....'? Never is quite a long time. So maybe TODAY is the day you finally do it. What are you waiting for?

Do you have confidence in yourself?

All of my posts are aligned to my single goal - helping people live their life their own way. A major part of this is Self Confidence which is something lots of people struggle with.

If you have low self confidence, try these things every time you’re feeling low. And say them to yourself, in the mirror. Out loud.

1. Accept that you can do ANYTHING. Because you’re amazing.

2. Know that the person you WANT to be is who you REALLY are. Because if you’re not the person you WANT to be, you’re holding yourself back.

3. Remember that What YOU think about yourself is WAY more important than what others think.

4. You’re awesome! So get your game face on and start showing us who you REALLY are!

When you do this. Accept it. And start realising that your low self confidence is disappearing. And the moments of doubt are less and less frequent.

👋👋👋 Hiyaaaaa! This chirpy little northerner is here to fill your day with questions...What if?🤔

I'm pretty sure you've done this at some point before...

You've had a bit of a crisis, like:
😢😢An unexpected bill
🤬🤬Having an argument with someone you cared about
😓😓Feeling unprepared for a work deadline/project
😬😬Having an important meeting (like a job interview)

And you've probably run through every s**t scenario you could imagine, like:
Because you can't pay your bill, you can't buy food, or pay rent/mortgage and you end up homeless...😭😭
You fall out with them for good, or maybe they give you a kicking...😤😤
Messing up your project, getting fired and then having no money to pay your bills (etc. etc.)😦😦
Embarrassing yourself and not getting the job🤦‍♂️🤦‍♀️

And honestly, it's totally normal for your brain to do s**t like this. It's how it prepares you for the 'worst case' situation so you can either deal with it when it happens or avoid it altogether.🧠🧠

There's probably times these things can flood you with worry and you start feeling major stress and feelings of anxiety that create a cloud around every though you have.😩😩

So next time this hits you, try asking yourself a 'what if' question like this...🤨🤨

What if - I speak to the company I owe the money too andthey help me set up a payment plan. And it's not a problem.🤯🤯

What if - I go and speak to the other person and discuss it like a grown-up and we make up again in no-time.🤯🤯

What if - I speak to my boss/colleagues and ask for a bit of help. And I smash it!🤯🤯🤯🤯

What if - I nail the interview. Get the Job and never look back?

You see, asking a positive 'what-if' question is going to help you discover opportunities to get that positive outcome. 💪💪

But most importantly it stops the downward spiral of dark thoughts in their track. And it shocks your unconscious mind to realise it's not as bad as you think it is.🤯🤯

So maybe you look on the bright side and ask yourself...

What if it's all going to be alright?🔥🔥🔥

With the experience and qualifications as Coach and Therapist this is something I’ve learned and told so many people. Hundreds, if not thousands of times.🤓🤓🤓

But I’m happy to admit that the way I do, what I do, doesn’t work for everyone. And maybe, you need to hear it from someone else, so you can be more in control of how you deal with your fears and anxieties…🤔🤔

So.

Here it is.🤯🤯🤯

If you’re dealing with these kind of feelings, and you want to live life more in control of your fears and anxieties, maybe this can move you one step closer 💪💪💪

What do you do if you're afraid and, to some degree, anxious?

You lay out what you're anxious about in detail. Ask yourself, "What it is that I'm afraid of that might happen?" Next, you deconstruct it into smaller increments - into hypothetically manageable problems - and then you expose yourself, gradually, to the thing that you're afraid of.

The effect of this is not that you become less afraid. What happens instead? You become braver. And that's not the same thing.

It's not like, "well, the world isn't as dangerous as I thought it was, you know, silly me." What happens, realistically, is, "yeah, the damn world's just as dangerous as I thought, or maybe it's even more dangerous than I thought. It turns out that there's something in me that responds to taking that on as a voluntary challenge and grows and thrives as a consequence."

To decide to move forward courageously into the land of the unknown. That's one of the secrets to a good life.
