Today we visited The Welcome Table Cafe for the first of the Slow Cooker Courses that we have proudly sponsored - today was bread making! 🥖 ❤️ 😋

We are very proud to have sponsored The Ewe Space (Matson, Gloucester) to assist their ‘Warm Space’ initiative - where some of the most needy in the community are offered a warm, safe place to come when needed.
The Ewe Space does such great work for the community, for both young and old, and those in need. It is your generosity that allows us at Cheltenham Round Table to be able to make these donations, and we are proud to help.

We are very pleased to announce our full sponsorship, and delivery of 15 slow cookers (+ funds for ingredients) for a 12-week long ‘Slow Cooker Course’ run by Emma, and hosted at The Welcome Table Cafe, Matson, Gloucester.
The cafe is an excellent community project that provides a swap-shop for nearly new clothing, an inexpensive place to get a warm drink, access to individual serving of ingredients, and much more.
The slow cooker course will provide a life-changing experience for those who partake in it, and will help some of the most in need in the community -

‘After exploring the new recipes it has encouraged me to teach others and pass on healthy, simple, time and cost efficient cooking to my family, friends and neighbours. The Slow Cooker Club has provided my family with meals that I can also easily purchase, have less waste and have better nutritional value. I hope this is able to continue for others to be able to take advantage of and learn more about’ - S.B ‘23

It’s Buiness Meeting time! We enjoy meeting up for our curry, but even more we enjoy agreeing on the thousands of pounds to donate to local, Gloucestershire initiatives and good causes 👍🏻 - Cheltenham Round Table

Just prior to Christmas the members of Cheltenham Round Table voted unanimously to donate to the Gloucester-based Coney Hill Food Hub to help pay for Christmas hampers and a Christmas meal.
These are people in need, and it is your generosity through donations at the annual fireworks display, and the Santa float, that allow us to make these donations. Real, local people benefit, at a time when they are most in need. Thank you - CRT

Dear followers - Sadly, there are those who are trying to take advantage of our charitable fundraising, and you who may wish to participate, by posting fraudulent links on our page and Santa posts (please see below for an example of this).
We are catching them, but please be cautious - legitimate links will ONLY ever be posted from our official Chelt RT account.
Take care and MERRY CHRISTMAS! 🎅

Last night the Cheltenham Round Table met for our post-Fireworks business meeting. Many hundreds and thousands of pounds were proposed and agreed to be donated to local charities and good causes. It is always the best part of being Tablers when we know that the money raised by such events as the fireworks 🎆 and Santa sleigh visits 🎅 makes such a big difference to those in need in Gloucestershire.

Today’s the day. Everything’s looking good to go here at the racecourse and we can’t wait to welcome you to the event this afternoon!

🐾🐕 It’s just been confirmed that Bluey and Bingo have begun their walk to the racecourse, where they’ll be stopping for dog biscuits and getting ready to greet our smallest guests tonight! On arrival, you’ll find them in the Auction tent where their first performance will be at 4:30pm.

⛔️ There is NO facility to pay on the gate to gain entrance to our Fireworks Extravaganza, so regrettably, unless you have a valid ticket you are kindly requested not to come the Racecourse tonight, as you will be declined entry. You can still buy a ticket online until gates to the event open at 4pm - unless they sell out beforehand (we really do recommend securing them asap to avoid disappointment)

⏰ Please do be mindful of time and leave early to join us! The gates to tonight’s event open at 4pm for a reason - we simply cannot accommodate the arrival of thousands of guests just before 6.30pm! It will take time to gain access and due to another event being hosted at the Rugby Club nearby, we are aware that vehicle access at Southam Lane is likely to be very busy, so please allow plenty of time and aim to enter the event as near to 4pm as you possibly can.

🚀 We promise that there’s plenty to do here on site, so arrive stress free, enjoy the massive range of refreshments on offer & all the fun of the fair, before selecting your spectator spot well ahead of the display which will start at 6.30pm sharp.

🦶Arriving on foot? Good news! You can use the main entrance off the south roundabout. This is by the main Grandstand and saves a long walk! There’s no need to walk the significant extra distance to the Southam Entrance, which is designated for all those arriving by car!

Good morning! If you’re intending to join us TOMORROW NIGHT but haven’t sorted your tickets PLEASE ACT FAST - there are still limited early bird tickets available and it’s the FINAL DAY to purchase them, via the link in our bio.

🖥 Please note that there will be NO TICKETS available on the door on the night - they MUST be booked in advance ONLINE.

🚨 Last year so many people contacted us on the day of the display to say they were desperate to attend the event but we’d sold out…and as much as we’d love to host everyone - due to strict health and safety rules at the racecourse there is absolutely no wiggle room on the number of guests we can accommodate. Once these tickets are gone, they are GONE. And they are selling out fast….

☺️ THANK YOU for your incredible support as we work to raise as much money as possible for all of our worthy beneficiaries. There are so many people needing our help right now and EVERY COIN COUNTS! 🚀❤️

🚨THE ANNOUNCEMENT YOU’VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR! 🚨

We said no dogs allowed, but after a lot of thought, we’ve made an exception (well, two)…

🎉We are delighted to announce that Bluey and Bingo have been given special permission to scamper into the racecourse to greet our youngest guests at this year’s Fireworks Extravaganza!

As well as our famous friends, the event will also play host to Danter’s Funfair, plus plenty of food & drink stalls which promise to fuel your family’s celebrations on the night!

⏰ This year, Gates open at 4pm and the fireworks display is scheduled to start at the earlier time of 6.30pm.

📍 A reminder that Cheltenham Racecourse offers extensive, hard surface parking, plus covered viewing areas, just in case the weather is ☔️

🖥 Book tickets online, by visiting the link in the comments below.

We're here to answer all your questions about Round Table, starting with: Who can join Round Table?

The Round Table Family is open to everybody, however members of Round Table are 18-45 years old and identify as male. Our sister organisation Ladies Circle is open to individuals who identify as female of the same age. 41 Club and Tangent represent the interests of members over 45 years old.

We exist to accomplish very specific goals, which include the promotion of friendship amongst those who identify as male, in an age where male su***de is the #1 cause of death in men 18-45.

The main issue for this is loneliness - Round Table gives men an opportunity to build friends through shared experiences.🤝
