We offer flexible early learning and childcare for 66 children during sessions, aged from six weeks to school age.

In order to further support our families during school holiday periods, provision is offered to children up to 12 years.

We are currently creating a Nurture garden within the Oak Room garden, and we are looking for paving stones to make stepping-stones for the this area.

If you have any spare pavers - round, square etc - we would love to have them.

Thank you!

A group of children from the Acorn and Oak room are taking part in a dance performance, this will be a first for some of our children, it would be great to see as many people come along and support. There will be stalls and creative stations to take part in. The plan is to bring the community together and celebrate.

Oak room lost property 🌟

Please check the lost property boxes outside the Oak room door before Thursday, anything unclaimed will be donated to charity as we unfortunately do not have the space to store these items.

Thank you!

Within the Acorn room we have been exploring our feelings through the use of “The Colour Monster” story. We have been focusing on 3 core feelings: Happy, Sad & Angry and practising Makaton signs for these.
Children have the opportunity to participate in an Emotional Check in each day, allowing them to express how they feel and why they feel like this. This allows children to understand their emotions and the emotions of others.

Feel free to continue this at home and share your learning with the nursery through your child’s ejournal.

Spare clothing-
It is really important that you have spare clothes for your child in nursery.
Every child has a red pull string bag so can you please transfer any clean clothes when you arrive into the red bag as some people are picking up other poly bags and clothes are getting taken home by the wrong people.
We have a very little stock available so we may have to call you to bring spare clothes in during the session.
Can you PLEASE ensure any wet/soiled clothes are taken home and if you can check the lost property box next to the Oak room door for any missing clothes.

Outdoor clothing: can you send children in with wellies and waterproof suits as they all love to explore the outdoors and we are out in all weathers. We do have a few spare if required

Thanks
