Biospheric Performance Equestrian Posture

Are you aware how much your straightness or lack of straightness affects your horse? Postural Assessments and corrective work on the rider is the answer.

This is about corrective posture for riding horses for all levels. Learning to avoid compromising our horses through bad posture and trying to help our horses backs through working on the rider and learning to hold the correct position. The unique point of this work is that a total over all assessment is done whilst passively lying down to assess the functionality of the joints and the symmetry of

Hey all I am setting up a new class - currently aimed at people beginning the journey of total body alignment. I am running it as monthly packages, keeping numbers down so it is priced differently to the current time table. Please share around if you can think of anyone who may benefit - all ages are welcome but particularly good for combatting ageing aching bodies. STARTING THIS WEDNESDAY. Limited places left.

We are now able go out & about - are you happy with your contribution to the partnership with your horse? Are you aware of your postural & balance. Biomechanics assessments available to really understand your areas of tension & blocks. Available on zoom & Face2face, group & 1-2-1

Food for thought - can we do things differently? This guy is really interesting can we actually encourage our horse to move in a healthy and less damaging way?

Face to Face Biomechanics Assessments starting up again once we get the go ahead to visit other yards.
The focus is on the RIDER, and his/her straightness. By not being straight and balanced you do not give your horse the best opportunity to be balanced. By leaning or weighting more to one side you will load up the horses body more on that side and so this can cause back pain or lameness.

The assessment takes into consideration on horse posture as well as off horse.
This can be done either live or with pre-recorded video of you riding.
Then we also assess the rider passively off horse to look for symmetry, balance & weakness and teach how to correct.
The idea is to improve your riding, by gaining more consistent precise aids and to help the horse by being better balanced.

Equestrian If you are not straight I ask two questions: Are you giving the same signal on each reign to your horse? Are you causing him to be sore? Is it surprising that this horse falls out on the left reign and struggles with bending evenly? Assessments on the horse are critical to see what is going on...

Our Story: Rider Biomechanics

This is about corrective posture of the rider for riding horses at all levels. Learning to avoid compromising our horses through our bad posture and rather trying to help our horses backs through working on the rider and teaching to balance and hold the correct position.

The unique point of this work is that an assessment is done of the whole body whilst passively lying down to assess the functionality and range of motion of the joints and the symmetry of the body.

By starting at the foundations off the horse one can then work on stabilising on other unstable platforms before the whole thing is put together on the horse. This involves many techniques - such as yoga and pilates and other core exercises and then strengthening using Gravity machines and Reformers, weights, cable machines etc.
