What a great day and on our door step.

Firstly thanks to the Jim Clark Motorsport Museum and Doug Niven for supporting the club and getting us in during season end.
We had a great turn out with members travelling from Tynside to support a little get together at the Duns Museum.

What a fabulous glance into a local world champions life, yes a world champion in the Borders, you dont realise untill you see the videos and trophies for yourself. Its on our doorstep and well worth a look.
One last thanks to Michael Deans for organising this get together and also getting us very well cared for at the Jim Clark Café Bistro, what a scone and coffee i had, i'll be back.
Thanks all again for supporting Berwick Motorclub.

Did you hear us get a mention?

Get this in your planner! 📺
Tonight at 8pm on Channel 5HD Susan Calman’s Grand Days Out.

Susan learns about Jim Clark and chats to Doug Niven in the Scottish Borders.

All Club members who supply us with email addresses will have received the email last week about Michael Deans organising a trip to the Jim Clark museum in Duns at 11am on the 5th November.

Up till now Michael has had 6 replies, now I know this may not be everyone's cup of tea or you may have other plans, that's fine. But we need a minimum of 12 people. Bring a partner or the family even a friend or 2 who you think may enjoy it. A £5 donation is required. Let Michael know ASAP or comment below how many people and also of tou would like to go to the bistro for a snack or a bite to eat afterwards.

It will get to a point where we stop organising little events like this and clubnights due to lack of interest or poor attendance.

Sounds like a great few outings, lows are low but there are more high bits.

Teeside Sprint Round 7🏁

New kart and having never driven it before Kalle managed to get back to where he was with lap times within a few sessions on Saturday practice.

Sunday, although starting off well, didn’t go to plan.

Engine failure in the 3rd heat of the day meant our day ended early. Massive thank you to Freddie Blackshaw Racing for your efforts to try and get us back out in the final but it wasn’t our day.

Our plan for starting karting was to compete in a race this year and we’ve managed 5 rounds of the championship.

Also, best of luck to Kalle’s best friend at Teeside Abel Hutton Racing for the final round🏁

Great little touch a little give and take.

Today, we presented a cheque to the Laidlaw Memorial Pool & Fitness Centre in Jedburgh. This was following a very kind donation from a competitor who asked us to choose a charity instead of recieving a refund. We chose the pool and fitness centre as they are currently raising funds to stay afloat. A great way giving back to the community that supports us every year.
