Where have I been? Did you miss me? I got side-tracked making 18" doll clothes for a charity project in the US but now I have finished the gift (made 50 sets, some quilts and other bits). It was fun to make them and think of all those getting dolls with lots of clothes.
And now here is the news - my previous website host was costing so much that I have moved to a different provider and the address is www.angelawdollclothes.co.uk. I like the set up
There's more - I have added a new model. She is the thinner 18" doll from Carpatina. The first 3 outfits for her are listed.

Happy New Year!

How are you doing this horrible weather? We have had lots of rain but no real snow. Fortunately we live at the top of a hill but there are temporary lakes appearing all around. If it gets much worse husband may consider building an ark (as there are only us 2 and the dog at home perhaps putting the garden shed on a raft may be enough although the dog will insist that the gas fire and the cooker come along too).

The nights are drawing in and here we with go again with shops breaking out into the orange, purple and black rash that says Halloween is coming.

The time machine went back to the 1920s last week and produced a very Art Deco dress for the 18" girls - then it hiccupped and out popped a rather smart cloche hat to finished the outfit. I am rather pleased with this set and wonder what you think of it? Poirot, or even Downton Abbey.
The 18" boys are thinking of dog walking during the summer holidays and insisted that they need a hat in case it turns cold.
Looking through the box of stretch fabrics I found this delightful bright pink lycra with a glittering hologram dots on it. There was just enough to make 2 sets and the Minnie Mouse cotton looks so cute as a pocket on the rucksack.
The batik trousers with a white tee shirt makes a good play outfit and you can keep in touch with your doll because she comes with her own mobile phone.

CELEBRATING in red, white and blue

Betty, my time travelling sewing machine, has been to 1815 again and we have made 2 dresses from a lovely Pemberley Threads pattern which we hope you will like. We weren't happy with the 1920s headband so have made a far more stylish bandeau for the outfit.

Betty, my sewing machine, has turned into a time traveller just recently. So far she and I have gone back to the 1920s and then, when we got the hang of the controls to 1815 (avoiding the Battle of Waterloo).

Sorry to have been missing for the past month but I had a fall causing quite a bit damage which wasn't helped by being stuck on a cold floor for 2 hours and an 11 hour wait for an ambulance. My face was a real mess and got infected so had to be stitched twice. West Midlands Ambulance Service are my heroes as are the Max-Fac staff at New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton.

Been having some fun sewing outfits for the colder weather with zipped fleece jackets that come with trousers for the 18" boy dolls and with leggings for the 18" girls.
The first picture is an autumnal dress with a new pattern jacket which I think makes a lovely outfit.
