Braving the weather today,Councillor Geva Blackett, Aboyne, Upper Deeside & Donside
was hard at work helping Calum from Edinglassie Estate - one of the estates in theGrampian Moorland Group - deliver Country Food Trust meals to residents struggling through the increasing cost of living crisis.
Geva is keenly aware of the issues facing her remote, rural Ward and has been at the heart of delivering game from local estates for over twelve years. Today she brought a guest from Los Angeles, Jane Stewart, with her to show the reality of life for too many in rural Scotland

We cannot thank her enough for her support.

If any local food banks or community larders would like a delivery, please let Geva know or DM the group.

Wishing Phil Pearson a wonderful retirement! 🍾

After 33 years service at Dunecht Estates, initially as a Joiner and then as Clerk of Works, Phil is going to be sorely missed as the fount of all knowledge on property matters (and that’s no mean feat)! We will greatly miss him not least for his ability to stay upbeat in all situations, his impressive tie collection, his commitment to our Dunecht Dash team and his great passion for a cup of tea.

All the very best Phil!
