I’ve gone for some serious flower overload on this dreary, rainy day. It’s always summer in the showroom!

I am often asked which is my favourite rug. To which I reply that’s like asking which is my favourite child. However, here are 2 of my current faves, hanging side by side in the showroom today.

For all you Heriz lovers out there! This fab antique Heriz carpet with an unusual design and great colours has just arrived!

Just another Mahal Monday! The view in the showroom before it all changes on Thursday!

Both rugs were woven by the Qashqai tribe of south west Persia at (approximately!) a 50 year interval. Now sitting in their lovely new home, reunited at last!

One of my favourite antique Afshar rugs with fab colours (check out the killer green!) found in Istanbul recently. It’s appeared in a couple of background shots but here it is in all it’s glory!

And that’s a wrap! The new showroom is now ready and open!
