5 new walking groups across Brighton and Hove.
Walking to work and home again adds a lot to your fitness levels. Remember not to dawdle, move with purpose. Keep a healthy but comfortable pace.
Your daily objective should be to spend an hour on continuous purposeful walking everyday. Try to move away from the idea of 10000 steps a day that doesn’t impose any form of training effect on your body.

Walking is such a great way to exercise!
I found today so meditative, with a great friend, able to talk through life's issues. Stopped for a little coffee, which I'd carried, on route.
Total time 3 hours 20 minutes. 20 minutes for coffee.
Total distance 15km
For extra fun I put some weight in my rucksack. There isn't a need to do this but it makes the effort level a little harder. But you should carry water and coffee.
All round good fun!
I thinking of running a free challenge in May.
