Defeat in Aberdeen.

Massive thankyou to for hosting us on our final game of the season, it was a pleasure.

This was also the final game for many of our senior members, who have each played an integral role in the history of this club.

On to the next...

FT: Edinburgh 6 - Strathclyde 10

After a tough 4th quarter, the burgeoning Strathclyde offense was able to create a lead out of reach for our Edinburgh side.

Despite the loss, it was an absolute pleasure to host our friends at Peffermill this Wednsesday and we congratulate them on the win.

Next Fixture: Wednesday, 1 March @ Aberdeen

Eligibility and Selection – Lacrosse Scotland 22/02/2021

From Jamie Fleming:

“Can I ask you to share this with your players please?

The Scottish Men’s National Field Lacrosse programme are looking for players interested in trialling for the 2022 Men’s U’21 World Championship.

World Lacrosse has confirmed that the 2022 World Lacrosse Men’s U’21 World Championship will now be held at the University of Limerick, Ireland from 10th-20th August.

The age-group World Championship was originally scheduled for the summer of 2020 but was postponed due to safety concerns arising from the global pandemic, along with limitations on team training and travel.

To be eligible, players are required to be under-21 years old as of 31st August 2021 and meet the criteria listed at the following link: https://www.lacrossescotland.com/policies/eligibility/.

The cost of the tournament for selected players is expected to be approximately £820 and would include competition entry, teamwear, accommodation and full board catering. Players would be expected to make their own travel arrangements to Limerick at an additional cost.

We will be holding a virtual meeting at 7pm on 27th February for players to ask questions about the event. If you would like to express your interest in trialling, please respond to the email below by 26th March 2021.

Sincerely,
Jamie Fleming
