Huge well done to my PT client Nathan Attwell who has lost 10lbs of fat whilst gaining lean muscle!
He has lost over 3β of his waist & gained over 6β in muscle on his chest, arms, thighs etc..
He is making huge improvements in his fitness levels & smashing HIIT training etc.. π₯πͺ

A massive well done to who has completed my 12 week Transformation programme & has lost an amazing 25lbs!
She has also lost over 23 inches & has gone from not running at all to running 5 mile+ runs!
She trains regularly at my gym & is confident in blasting training sessions using loose weights, machine weights, cardio & HIIT training ππΌββοΈππΌββοΈπ₯

FITNESS TIP: Active Recovery
Ever felt exhausted but also struggle to sleep? Ever wondered why you can never find the motivation to train? Or even picking up niggling injuries? You could be experience bodily fatigue! Sometimes your body needs a rest just to recover or you've been over training but you don't want to stop training completely in fear of losing all your progress and gains.
Symptoms of over training and a tired body:
- lack of motivation for anything
- constantly tired
- not recovering between sessions
- difficulty or loss of sleep
- even loss of appetite.
These are all signs that you need to slow down and find alternatives until your body catches up.
Trying a few sessions of active recovery for a week will not only let your body recover but gives you chance to re-evaluate your training goals.
Trying things like:
- long brisk walks (with the dog/s, partner, children or just on your own to clear the air)
- working on non-impact machines in the gym such as bikes or cross-trainer
- swimming (this is probably the best form of active recovery as it takes the pressure of the joints and just uses the working muscles to propel you through the water which causes less stress on the body whilst being an effective workout).
If your suffering from the above symptoms have a go at doing some βactive recoveryβ and see if it helps.
