The Recovery Games stock is arriving, and Aladdin's cave is brimming. A heartfelt thank you to our two recovery warrior volunteers for their assistance with the clean up and stock check. We're on the cusp of confirming our headline acts through our fantastic collaboration with DryWave Events and opening team registrations, so stay tuned for more updates. Recovery warriors, spectators and supporters, this year we are bringing in recovery themed challenges for all to take part in on the day. So not only can you come along and cheer on our brave competitors you could also bag yourself some amazing prizes from one of 3 themed challenges. Firstly recovery means having a firm grip on where you are going and hanging in there through tough times so we are going to test how well people hang on with our “hang tough” challenge the person with longest hanging time on the day takes one of our amazing prizes. Our 2nd challenge sees a return of a past Recovery games challenge the unclimbable ladder this challenge represents how initially early recovery is often viewed but with perseverance, commitment and the right level off effort what was once considered unachievable becomes a possibility. Do you have what it takes to climb that ladder and successfully ring the bell to claim your prize. Then finally we are bringing in an old school TV classic “Play your cards right” Recovery is full of highs and lows and unpredictability’s will you be clear and cool headed enough to make the right choices and win the day. Collaborations and working together to achieve more are a vital part of recovery and wellbeing. That’s what we at the Recovery Games do best! This year, we are bringing back the amazing DryWave Events, the UK’s biggest sober club experience producers. Last year, they brought us Baby D and N-Trance, and they will be bringing the noise in their own unique flavour again this year, ramping up the already electrifying atmosphere of the Recovery Games (artists to be confirmed soon).

Joining us on the day are the out-of-this-world Mos Eisley Misfits 2021 outfits. These real-life superheroes have a mission to raise smiles for those they meet, as well as raising vital funds to support 2Wish. 2Wish provides support to bereaved families, especially those who have lost young people, by attending events dressed as our favorite Star Wars characters to entertain families at comic cons and festivals across the UK.

Mark your calendars for September 14th at the Hatfield Outdoor Activity Centre! We have the usual and new incredible larger-than-life warriors' challenges and interactive activities, all for free.
