Thanks to St Audrys for their hospitality today in hosting the competition for players in our Junior Development Hubs. Considering the amount of rain we have had, the course was in excellent condition. Congratulations to Adrian Currie (Bungay GC) who won the competition with 20 points and to Herbert Bishop-Penn (Felixstowe Ferry) who had the best score for a player who does not yet have a handicap, with an impressive 47 gross.

This afternoon 18 young golfers (boys and girls), who are among those that have been attending the SGU Junior Development Hubs across the county during the summer, will be lining up at St Audrys Golf Club to take part in a nine-hole stableford, their first ever county competiton. Handicaps range from 15 to no handicap as yet and their scores will go onto WHS. This is the start of their journey to become county golfers (we hope!). Many thanks to St Audrys for allowing us to use their course and for getting it playable after all the rain we have had. Good Luck to all the players
