This is one reason why I use doTERRA essential oils.
7 days ago, my friend fell down and hurt her head, especially around the eye, and got this massive graze. π²βΉοΈ
I saw her the day after this happened and took an oil blend i created for her.
My friend has used my blend consistently 3 times a day. After 3 days, the scab fell off and was pink underneath. Her head was also feeling less painful. Today, day 7, this is how the wound looks.
Absolutely incredible healing, and we are both totally amazed by how much she has healed.
I am so grateful to have these natural and healing tools in my first aid kit that I can share with my loved ones in need π₯³π₯°β€οΈ
Oils used: Frankincense, Copaiba, Sandlewood, Blue Tansy, Helichrysum, Yarrow Pom, Geranium, and Tea Tree.

Diabetic neuropathy (DN) is very difficult to manage and significantly reduces quality of life. Unfortunately, nearly one-third of people with diabetes experience DN. A clinical study found that massage with diluted lavender essential oil reduce DN pain intensity. Massage was performed on the feet (20 minutes) and hands (10 minutes), three times weekly, for four weeks.

What a week π
I've had shoulder pain on & off for a few weeks, but on Thursday evening it was REALLY painful, i could not move my right arm & I didn't sleep well. In the morning the family instructed me to go to the doctor. π€
The doc said that i have pulled/damaged the muscles and tendons in my rotator cuff π€¦ββοΈ he thinks it is related to walking the dog and ball throwing π€·ββοΈ
The Doc said I had to take anti-inflammiroy meds. I declined - because those things are lethal on our bodies & because I have a hiatus hernia so they will make my symptoms worse.
Then he said to use an anti-inflammitory gel (voltarol). I declined that too & said I would use my oils. The doc rolled his eyes π at me, & told me if i don't take anti-inflammitories I could get a frozen shoulder. He also said it would take up to 8 weeks to heal & if not better to come back and get a steroid injection in the shoulder π± i did accept other pain killers though.
He said as much movement as possible to prevent the shoulder from freezing.
I came home, made myself an anti-inflammitory in a veggie cap to take internally. I used 2 drops of Frankincense, Copaiba, turmeric & lemongrass.
I got hubby to give me a Symphony of the Cells (SoC) "Inflammation" protocol. By applying 9 doTERRA essential oils to the spine & feet.
I also took a pain killer.
I've made an "Inflammation" blend in a spray bottle, with the same oils in the SoC protocol, plus Cypress & Copaiba, to rub on the shoulders as often as i want.
I've also looked up the emotional side of my injury in the "Louise Hay - Heal your body book" & I have been saying the affirmation regularly, especially while applying oils.
B4 bed i took another veggie cap with anti-inflammitory oils, used a heat pad for about 30 min then slept pretty well.
Today there is far less pain & I've more movement in the shoulder. I've had another SoC & continue to apply the shoulder spray & say my affirmation ππ₯°π
I've not had another painkiller either π
I love that I can get advice from the Doc then do the research to support myself naturally πͺπΎ

When I collected Miss 11 yesterday her shirt was blood stained. π€
She explained that she had a nose bleed during one of the tests.
Once home i got her to change clothes and to apply doTEREA Correct X to her the bridge nose and sinus area, to help healing and I applied some Helichrysum and Frankincense, in a carrier oil to the back of her neck and feet.
Then i got the doTERRA Cleaner Concentrate and applied it neat to the blood stains. I let that soak for about 20 min and added the shirt to a whites wash in the washing machine.
When i went to hang the clean washing out I couldn't tell which of the 3 shirts in said wash had the blood on. Stains completely gone πͺπΎππ
Day 3 of SATs tests.
We have pretty much kept to the same routine and oils this week but Miss 11 came home really tired today. They had 2 math's tests back to back today and its been a rather hot day.
She had a nose bleed during one of the tests this morning π€ so when we got home I suggested giving her an AromaTouch Technique and she jumped at the chance π
AromaTouch is such a wonderful treatment to help manage stress, reduce Inflammation and boost our immune system. It is also a very gentle and extremely relaxing treatment!
Miss 11 had a little snooze while on the table and she has been very chilled out all evening ππ₯³π
If you would like an AromaTouch Technique then get in touch and let's arrange it!
SATs day 2.
Miss 11 had a seemingly good day yesterday but once home she had a big cry over something that appeared to be completely insignificant... but really she was just releasing the stress of her day.
Miss 11 is not always a willing oil user so I have to cone up with inventive ways to get them on her.
One of the ways I get her to use essential oils is our "Fabric Spray" which i apply to her uniform each day. I have been doing this for a long time, but she was mostly oblivious to it, she just liked the smell of her clothes.
However the past few days she has been asking for a spritzer before leaving home and since then it has become a little morning thing. She does a twirl while i spray her with fabric spray π€·ββοΈπ€£
This morning we needed a refill... it is so easy she did it herself and chose Adaptive, Frankincense and Wild Orange Essential Oils. She put 5 drops of each oil then filled up the spray bottle with Witch Hazel. (Perfect oils to support her anxious feelings today!)
It smells so delicious that she did 2 twirls, just for luck and off to school we walked saying an affirmation on the way to boost her self esteem and confidence! π
I love that i am empowering and supping my daughter on her journey the best way i know how.
Flick your hair like you just don't care! ππ₯³β€οΈ
Today is the start of a week SATs testing. (Standardised testing by the UK government)
Miss 11 has had underlying stress all weekend. This is a direct result of the pressure and conditioning that the teachers have put on them leading up to this week. π€¬
No matter how much i tell her that these tests mean nothing to her in future life or to us she is feeling the stress π€·ββοΈ
I have been supporting her with essential oils, by diffusing them, she has been bathing in them with Epsom salts, in her sniffer bottle and applying them topically as often as she let me!
We have also done lots of breathing, walks and LOTS of playing games and laughter.
Last night at bedtime she had a big cry and then ended up laughing so hard as i was telling her silly jokes.
She woke up at 2am, so i applied some oils topically to myself (she refused to have any... I became the diffuser)
and I then just got into bed with her and we went back to sleep.
We kept our morning routine as normal as possible and had diffuser going as usual!
She went off to school with a smile and a giggle as i had one last joke up my sleeve ππ₯³
I am so grateful for my essential oils and the knowledge I have gained during my oily journey so far. Not only oil knowledge but also all the other empowering tools like .... mindfulness, self care and being true to my own journey.
Oils used this weekend to support Miss 11 and myself: Frankincense, Lavender, Vetiver, Juniper berry, OnGuard and wild orange.
Do you want to know more? Do you want to empower yourself and your parenting?

The joy's of essential oils supporting sleep... Miss 11 fast asleep 20 mins after using her sleep blend π΄π
In a 30ml spray bottle of carrier oil we use:
10 π§ Frankincense
10 π§ Juniper berry
7 π§ Lavender
7 π§ OnGuard
7 π§ Bergamot
These oils help to calm her and fall asleep as well as stopping the bad dreams and night terrors and supports her immune system all at once πͺπΎβ€οΈ
We apply them to her feet and spine while getting ready for bed!
This little lady was 6.5 yo when doTERRTA found me and she had never slept through the night π±
Then I was given a sample of Juniper berry (to help with the night terrors) and Bergamot (to support her emotionally)... 3 days after applying these oils before bed time and the child slept though π€― then another night and then another π²
5 years on and she only wakes up in the night if she refuses to use her oils π€·ββοΈ
Drop me a β€οΈ in the comments if you want to know more or need some sleep in your life π
I'm at the Wigmore indoor Market today π
