Brentwood's Orchestras for Young Musicians
We run orchestras for young people in Brentwood aged 5-18
BOYM is now made up of eight orchestras; Brentwood Junior String Orchestra was formed in 1990, Brentwood Beginner Strings in 1998, then Phoenix Youth Orchestra in 2000. Our other five orchestras are Phoenix Flames, Phoenix Wind Band, Phoenix Flutes, BOYM Big Band and Percussion School, which have been introduced due to demand, since 2000.

Come and hear us play on Saturday in The Baytree Shopping Centre as part of Brentwood Art Trail. We will be playing duets from 1.30pm - 2pm and then Brentwood Junior String Orchestra will be playing with Flames Orchestra from 2pm - 2.30pm.

Thank you to Billericay Lions for inviting Flames to play at your film afternoon. You made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed the opportunity to perform.
We have spaces in all of our orchestras for new members.
