It has been a very busy and rewarding week at the Worthing Music Festival. Lots and lots of personal achievements from all pupils and wonderful to see how they have all come on this year. Very excited to have 4 students in the Junior Final and 2 in the Young Singer Of the Year final tomorrow. Good luck to everyone singing tomorrow and well done to everyone who has been brave enough to get up there and sing. Been a pleasure to listen to you all.

Rehearsals are well underway for my 3rd Concert to raise money for Alzheimer's Society as part of the East Preston Festival week. We had a wonderful rehearsal with the children today who were fantastic- so much energy. I am so excited for their numbers. Rehearsals are also underway for the adult choir and other solos and duets. Plus a very exciting Wedding Singer medley.

Had a fantastic couple of weeks playing for pupils at Worthing Music Festival. So proud of each and every one who performed there, from those who sung in their first festival to the four students who reached finals for Junior Singer and singer of the Year. Well done to the lovely Mollie who won Junior Singer of the Year!

Another great weekend at Arun Young Musicians Festival. Loved listening to all of the young singers and musicians and very proud of my students that performed and received such excellent feedback.

Was very proud to be part of my first concert at Windlesham this week. What a fantastic evening- all my singers did me proud and I loved watching all the other performances. So much fun to sing in the parent/teacher’s choir as well!

It's almost that time again... (Oh no it isn't!)

Another great summer term drawing to an end. Four sets of exams- musical theatre, classical singing, classical piano all with different exam boards, all fantastic marks; mostly distinctions and merits. Very proud of everyone who performed. Now just one more concert to go at East Preston Junior School next week.

Singing teacher creates one-off show to raise funds for The Alzheimer’s Society Freelance music and singing teacher Marie Ball has created a one-off show to raise funds for The Alzheimer’s Society, as part of the 2022 East Preston Festival.

Don’t forget to buy your tickets for ‘This Is Me’ featuring wonderful local singers and performers, with an array of music from the very best of musical theatre, past and present, and jazz music from The Fitts. This concert sold out at the last Festival so don’t leave it too late! All proceeds in aid of The Alzheimer’s Society: Saturday 11th June, 7.30pm, East Preston Junior School. Featuring a special chorus of children made up from some of my talented singing pupils.
