Slow progress but getting there 🤛🤛

Completed this week and well on our way with this one

This video shows the progress working from the floor up. Our vision of having the rafters exposed has come to life and the walls are starting to take shape.

After deciding the new layout we put some thought into how we wanted the ceilings finished. We felt a nice feature would be to have the original roof beams exposed. This was pretty much the first stage of insulating the whole area. The EPC was incredibly low unsurprisingly when we purchased the property. We had to put alot of thought into working out the best way to keep the warmth in.

After being let down by our carpenter we had to wait for structural work to be carried out. This video demonstrates the process of making key decisions regarding layout. Sleepless nights and many drawings on the floor followed before we made a solid decision. Which looking back was the right one.

Pre Xmas Update
This video was made just before Xmas , since then a lot of the original plans have changed and things have been delayed. It does give a good insight to how we’ve progressed from the bomb site we started with.
