✨Guest Bedroom✨
After designing my London clients sitting room and little girls bedroom it was a joy to return and work on the guest bedroom.
We wanted to create a serene space for their guests to enjoy which would also work as an office and a music room.
We did a full redesign from carpets, window treatments, bespoke cabinetry, paint, electrics, lighting and furniture choice’s.
Designs are now in for the my clients kitchen and dining room so watch this space 👀

✨Little girls bathroom✨
Following on from last week’s post of the three little girls loft bedroom here is the connecting bathroom en-suite. This full re-design takes it from a plain beige bathroom to a vision of peachy pink and striking stripes. Oh how I wish I’d had my own bathroom as a little girl.

✨Little girls bedroom✨
When three little girls ages 3-10yrs came to me with a wish to transform their loft bedroom I couldn’t wait to get designing them a magical fairyland in which they could do so much more than sleep.
Here you see a completely new layout along with a full re-design including bespoke cabinetry and beds.
It was such a joy seeing them play, do their hair and nails and read books in this space.
I was also lucky enough to design their bathroom too. More photos of that to follow.

✨2024 Best of Houzz Service Award✨
Thrilled to have won this award for the fourth year since being on Thank you to all my wonderful clients ♥️
This particular testimonial was from a lovely couple who’d worked with an architect on the re-structure of their open plan room, but then struggled with how best to utilise the space to fit their needs.
I cannot recommend enough the difference it can make when you work with an Interior Designer at the early stages of your renovation - that’s of course if you want to use an interior designer!
For example, here I was able to have input on window designs, electrics, plumbing, flooring, plasterwork, style and position of the fireplace, bespoke carpentry etc which all fed into creating the best design layout for my clients needs. Furniture and cushion choices are then the icing on the cake 😉

Can’t believe it’s that time of year when my husband patiently takes a photo of me by our Christmas wreath. I keep saying “it’s a tradition now” so it can’t be broken!

After picking her stunning wall mural she reached out asking for design advice on how to pull the rest of the room together. It was an absolute joy working on this project and her parting words of “I’m so happy I’ve found you!” have made my week.

I loved working on this project. My Beckenham clients had just bought their first family home. They required a home that would fulfill their growing family needs from their love of books, storage requirements and making each room work hard for their needs. Along with bespoke carpentry and high street finds we were able to create rooms which would meet their aesthetic and function needs.

Well, for me it’s not that glamorous what with all my many layers on!
One way to cosy things up is with candles and l love my candle. They have such wonderful scents and I’m such a fan of the moody black glass and black candle. Perfect for Autumn nights.

✨Finishing touches✨
Returned to my clients house to add the finishing touches to their hallway and landings. After a full redecoration, new lighting, furniture and carpets it is now time for the artwork.
I designed an art scheme which included a couple of my clients pieces alongside new additions. A few more are still to be hung, but here’s a little snapshot of a lovely oil painting bursting with colourful springtime joy. A bit different to the snow scenes we have now!

A note from Clare Marie
Hello, I’m Clare and I’m passionate about design and how it can have such an impact on our emotions. My music path brought me from my Cheshire home to London to work with an Orchestra and was where I was introduced to the world of gala’s, award ceremonies and event management. For 15 years I worked for the Royal Horticultural Society where I headed up an events team who worked on flower shows such as the prestigious and world famous RHS Chelsea Flower Show. My love of all things aesthetically pleasing came to fruition in the events world and has led me to where I am now.
During my time in London, my husband and I renovated our Beckenham house and it was due to me receiving so much lovely and positive feedback on my style that I decided to embark on a diploma at the KLC school of design.
I have now taken the step to share my passion with you. My love for interior design comes from one fundamental principle, our surroundings change the way we feel.
The challenge is, that with infinite design options as well as demands on our time, we can find it exceptionally hard to achieve the space where we feel happiest.
