Well done everyone for a fantastic last week of term. A reminder that school will be closed until Wednesday 4th September which will welcome our Year 7 students only, Thursday 5th September will welcome all year groups back to school. Have a lovely well deserved summer!

The house points have been calculated for throughout the year and Sports Day points have been added to the total. Our House Cup Winners of 2024 are FELLEY!!!! A big well done to all Felley House members!!!!

Its been an absolute hot day out on the top field for Sports Day but it has been fantastic! Well done to all students who competed today and to all staff for organising an amazing last day of term Sports Day. Our overall winners of Sports Day is Hardwick House!!!! Well done!

Our Year 9 Germany students have their passports ready for Calais.

Year 8 Camp is expected back 1.30-1.45 Please come and collect your child. If you can't collect please call Reception to notify us and school will accommodate them until end of day. If your happy for them to leave by themselves they can.

The Alton Towers students will return around 6.15pm due to traffic. Our students have behaved impeccable all day and they have had a fantastic day out.

Year 9 students in Germany have had a very hot day at Movie Park Theme Park. The perfect end to a great week.

This afternoon was the perfect weather for an ice cream stop. All students and staff had a much needed ice treat to celebrate end of term!

Good Morning from Year 8 Camp!

Tomorrow is Sports Day, a reminder that students will need to arrive in PE kit. As the weather is supposed to be high temperatures students are advised to bring in a bottle of water, sun hats and sun cream.

Last night at Year 8 Camp it was Disco time! Our students had a blast and danced the night away!

Today has been a fantastic day here with Transition Day. Our new Y6s have had a full on day getting to know eachother, we have had classroom activities, sporting events on the field such as traditional sports day, rewards assemblies and to finish our sponsored run. All students ran as many laps as they could within a time period and they were amazing! Well done to all who took part!

Our Year 9 students are spending the day in Rudesheim eating ice cream and visiting the cable cars #

A glorious day today at Bridlington. The students are having a beach explore day with a trip to the swimming pool this afternoon

A few more Cologne highlights

The weather has held off for the day in Whitby. Our Year 8 Campers are enjoying time around the seafront before returning to camp.

Despite being caught in a little storm Year 9 have had a fantastic day in the centre of Cologne which included a trip to Olympia Sport Musuem. #

Our Year 8 Campers are enjoying another full day today with some time in Whitby to see the local sights. The students have enjoyed time in the local arcades and have also enjoyed a boat ride out to sea.

This morning a group of our fantastic students volunteered for a community litter pick. The students accompanied by Miss Steel and Miss Hill visited several areas of South Normanton and cleared any litter. The students were incredible and enjoyed the experience. They have made our community that little bit more tidy.

Mr Hashim and Miss Bateman have taken our students to the chocolate factory for a tour of how chocolate is produced. Students have also been exploring the sights including the big wheel. #

Our students in Germany are having a fantastic day in Cologne this morning visiting all the local sights. This afternoon the students are visiting the local chocolate factory and hoping for free samples!

Our students in Cologne are experiencing a warm evening. They visited a familiar shop for cold drinks and snacks this evening. Glad the weather is glorious!
